Some of us spent 40 years campaigning with the Chagossians, whose interests should have been paramount. Under the Treaty, Britain can no longer block their return. However, it is absurd that we - the British taxpayer - are paying for the US base on Diego Garcia.

Imagine if everyone in the House of Lords was as fearless and determined to do the best for our country as you and @Fox_Claire. My goodness, the country would be in a much better place. Keep holding this useless government to account, and thank you 👏

@Fox_Claire Thanks will keep trying

Thank you for speaking out. We do appreciate you. 👏

Because they would much prefer serving their international colleagues than the British people so they can make lots of money once they leave office. Just ask Tony Blair.

@BobWrig47232753 I'm thinking that Sir Keir's ambitions are not limited to being PM of the UK, but he is looking towards a Global role. Demonstrated by not attending parliament for 2 weeks!

Starmer & Hermer working against Britain, with their best friend, to pay slavery reparations to Mauritius.

What galls me more is that the Chagos Islanders themselves have once again been shafted, where were their rights in the International Lawyer’s judgements?

because it's corrupt and is money laundering

It’s just a big slush fund for Starmer, Hermer and Sands.
