Why don't Americans install baseboard LED lights like this?

First of all, Americans can install lights like that you idiot. Second of all, why would anyone want lights like that?

Because led lights that are suppose to last 10 years only last 2 so am i suppose to rip off the sheetrock mud replace light every 2 years?

We did toe kick, under cabinet and over cabinet LED lighting in our remodel.
