People have been making things for themselves. The homes they build have a 20 to 40 year lifespan. Fast-food buildings like 5 to 6. They aren't designed to pass down to anyone. People use to build to pass to their Grandchildren.

Long ago, say in medieval time, there wasn’t much advancement in live. So people had lots of extra time, which explains why there was more art, more detailed art, artistic homes and castles. Today, with a huge advancement in life, there isn’t enough time for art.
