I always get worried with someone as process rigid as he appears to be w/o proven results at the top level. I'll wait to see, but it tends to be a boom or bust scenario. In this environment would lean more towards adaptability rather than rigidity but that's just my preference

We strongly believe that you ca hold your players accountable to exceptionally high standards without making them run suicides! 🙌 A lot of coaches use these traditional methods due to insecurities in their own coaching. If players are "misbehaving" in a practice, we believe it's due to a failure in the learning environment created by the coach.

There is a reason why we are the only English team in the competition, because this league and this schedule takes the hell out of you and it's very difficult to do what we've done. “We are not perfect, we need to improve things, that's for sure, we recognise that, but let's value what these players have done because they deserve it.”

Penn State head football coach Matt Campbell believes in mastering the basics, not becoming a jack of all trades. " You've been there. Your team's not good enough yet. So you try to out scheme everybody. And really what happens is you become the jack of all trades, master of nothing. And we're always trying to catch up 'cause we're just not good enough. So we're gonna out scheme you. Which honestly, it sets your program back. And so what we did is really simple. We're gonna be really good at quarters. We're gonna play four down. We're gonna play base defense. We're gonna play quarters. We're gonna learn how to tackle. We're gonna learn how to run into the football. First drill we do every single day on defense is pursuit drill. Now we're 10th in the country in total team defense. You know what we do really well? We run with the football. You know what we did on offense? We took two run plays. We took three pass plays. But we got really good at it. We became great teachers again instead of trying to be the jack of all trades We got back to what allowed our kids to learn and grow and develop to be the best they can be."

Coach Durning recently resigned as wrestling coach from Woodlands High School. This is a very serious matter. Hundreds of young women are likely involved. The conduct alleged is egregious. Every boundary that should exist between Coach and student has been crossed. We believe there are reams of video and photographic evidence. We know that the coach collected hundreds of intimate videos of the women he coached. We have attached a small sample of the sexually charged text communications between Coach Durning and some of the young women he has coached. We believe this grooming conduct has been going on for more than ten years. We intend to put an end to it. We are asking all witnesses who have information to come forward.
