A country created on the basis of religious separation, where Hindu communities were erased, is today adopting the very civilisational traditions it once chose to distance itself from. This morning, BJP West Bengal’s official Facebook page was briefly withheld. Why? Because it reminded people of a truth that some would rather bury. On September 20, 2018, in Darivit High School, Islampur, two young students, Rajesh Sarkar and Tapas Barman, were shot dead in police firing. Their “crime”? Protesting against the appointment of Urdu teachers and demanding Bengali teachers instead. This is not a narrative. This is recorded history. The Trinamool Congress seems petrified of its own past, a past where two Bengali Hindu students lost their lives at the hands of the Bengal Police for raising their voice. When that reality resurfaced on social media, the instinct wasn’t to answer, it was to suppress. Getting our page reported and briefly suspended only raises a larger question: Why such fear of the truth? Why such desperation to prevent people from remembering what happened in Islampur? You cannot erase history by silencing voices. Our page is back. And the truth will reach every corner of Bengal.

This weekend, at the NCCM & Islamic Relief Canada gala, the Mayor of Canada’s largest city, stood with us and spoke the truth: that what is happening in Gaza is a genocide. That truth matters. It matters to the mothers who have buried their children. It matters to those who have been silenced and vilified for saying what is obvious to anyone with eyes and conscience. And it matters to every Canadian who still believes that moral courage must guide public life. Mayor Chow’s words tonight were not about politics — they were about acknowledging the genocide in Gaza, and the path forward. It is an acknowledgment that has important policy implications, as we all know, because as well also all know, there are far too many who have not made this acknowledgment. Mayor Chow’s words tonight make it clear that recognizing genocide for what it is the only ethical imperative. The standard should be speaking the truth. What is happening is a genocide. The time where everybody had to sit around and pretend that what wasn’t happening wasn’t happening has passed. We don’t need to be bullied and cowed. That time is over, and it was over years ago. Speaking the truth is the only way to be decent right now. Everyone - and that includes our politicians - must speak the truth. As the Mayor also reminded us, there is still much wrong here in Toronto. And we’ve seen terrible things happen to shut down peaceful protests to stand against the genocide in Toronto over the past few years. There are communities who do not feel safe. THE GENOCIDE IN NIGERIA IS CHRISTIAN SPONSORED GENOCIDE Another Christian who understands the truth even the kind of truth many people are uncomfortable hearing or try to silence. This is not about religion, tribe, or political alignment; it is about honesty, courage, and standing for what is right. When someone chooses to speak the truth despite pressure, criticism, or backlash, it shows integrity and a deep sense of responsibility to society. Truth has no religion it belongs to everyone who seeks justice and fairness. It takes courage to speak facts that go against popular opinion or personal interests. Many people avoid the truth because it exposes wrongdoing or challenges their beliefs. Voices like this should be encouraged, not attacked or ignored. A better society can only be built when people are willing to accept and act on the truth. Unity comes from honesty, not from hiding reality or pretending everything is fine. Silence in the face of truth only allows problems to grow bigger. In the end, the truth will always stand no matter how long it is resisted.

Hindutva Procession Leicester 25/08/25… On Monday, footage came out of a procession of saffron, Hanuman covered flags through the streets of a Muslim-majority area in Leicester. These flags are associated with the Bajrang Dal, a militant group part of the family of organisations headed by the RSS or Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. It is despicable that we are seeing these flags and this procession anywhere, let alone here. This is reminiscent of what we saw in 2022 in Leicester before the riots broke out in the same spot. So this is a situation to watch closely. This is not Hinduism, this is Hindutva, the political ideology of Hindu supremacy and nationalism, which seeks to stamp out India's non-Hindu, particularly but not only Muslim, culture, heritage, and peoples, and also falsely position my beautiful faith, culture, tradition of Hinduism as a monolithic, exclusionary identity, which could not be further from the truth. Hinduism is by definition a pluralistic, diverse, syncretic tradition. There is no place for the Bajrang Dal, any related organisation, or any related symbolism on the streets of Leicester, the UK, or anywhere. This is a genocidal ideology that will be defeated. The excuse being given is that this was to mark Ganesha Chaturthi, the festival celebrating Ganesha's birthday. This is obviously ridiculous — if these were good-faith celebrations then why are they brandishing flags of Hanuman with no Ganesha iconography? Why were they brandishing flags associated with the violent Bajrang Dal? And why did they carry out their unauthorised procession exactly where the riots of 2022 began in a Muslim-majority area? The truth is obvious. Globally Hindus number about 110 crores. Yet, when Hindu brothers and sisters in Bangladesh are being genocidally persecuted simply for being Hindu, not even 110 protest and condemnation meetings have been held. It shows the extraordinary levels of Hindu apathy and indifference towards the gencoide and religious persecution of their own. Its nothing new. It had happened in Kashmir which is in our own country, India. It happened and has been happenig elsewhere. The Hindu unmove and mass lemming syndrome is the bigger tragedy than the tragedy of Hindu genocide. As scheduled, the Protest Meeting against Hindu Genocide in Bangladesh was held in the Constitution Club, New Delhi by Dr. Vijay Jolly Ji, President of Delhi Study Group in the august presence of Pujya Jain Muni Dr Lokesh Acharya Ji and Sri Alok Kumar Sr. Advocate, International President of Vishva Hindu Parishad -VHP, and other prominent persons. Appreciation to Dr Vijay Jolly Ji for this initiatve. The response was overwhelming with 300 particpiants and the hall was overflowing. A few diplomats too attended the meeting and took down notes. I made a PPT presentation which is videofied and shared herewith.👇 The meeting unanimously passed a Resolution protesting and condemning the Hindu Genocide in Bangladesh with an appeal to all concerned to effectively intervene and stop it immediately.
