Why is remembering Hindu pain called “hate”? Why is demanding justice for raped daughters and beheaded fathers labeled “communal”? In this hard-hitting episode of DrishtikoneTV, we revisit the horrifying genocide of Noakhali in 1946, a time when Hindu families were slaughtered, women were raped, and leaders like Rajendralal Roychowdhury...

This Is the Real Hurt of a Hindu Society Nobody Wants to Talk About.!! “Muslim boys performing Duff Muttu inside a Hindu temple.” Thalassery, Chembad , Muthuvanayi Muthappan Temple. And suddenly everyone jumps up saying, “This is the real Kerala story… see how peaceful, how progressive!” But let me tell you something from the heart This is NOT the real Kerala story. The real Kerala story happened two years ago… A handful of Hindus were simply playing Chenda Melam outside a mosque. Not inside… just outside. And then? A Muslim woman stormed out like she owned the entire street. She didn’t ask. She didn’t question. She abused those men tore them down with the most filthy, degrading language just because Hindu drums echoed near a mosque. That pain in their eyes… The helplessness on their faces… That is the real Kerala story.🤷🏻‍♂️ A Kerala where secularism has become a collar tied only around the Hindu neck. A Kerala where Hindus surrendered their space, inch by inch, in the name of “peace”… until they forgot they even had a space of their own. And today, when someone walks into a temple and performs a religious Muslim ritual, people clap and call it “beautiful”. Beautiful? Or the victory of one-sided secularism? So let me ask loudly… to every “liberal” celebrating this Do you have the courage to organise an “Ayyappan Vilakku” inside a mosque? Will you allow Hindu rituals in your sacred space the way you expect Hindus to tolerate everything? If your answer is NO, then stop fooling Kerala. Stop lying to Hindus. And stop selling this fake story as “secularism”. This is not harmony. This is surrender.

We want to begin by saying something very clearly. This weekend, at the NCCM & Islamic Relief Canada gala, the Mayor of Canada’s largest city, stood with us and spoke the truth: that what is happening in Gaza is a genocide. That truth matters. It matters to the mothers who have buried their children. It matters to those who have been silenced and vilified for saying what is obvious to anyone with eyes and conscience. And it matters to every Canadian who still believes that moral courage must guide public life. Mayor Chow’s words tonight were not about politics — they were about acknowledging the genocide in Gaza, and the path forward. It is an acknowledgment that has important policy implications, as we all know, because as well also all know, there are far too many who have not made this acknowledgment. Mayor Chow’s words tonight make it clear that recognizing genocide for what it is the only ethical imperative. The standard should be speaking the truth. What is happening is a genocide. The time where everybody had to sit around and pretend that what wasn’t happening wasn’t happening has passed. We don’t need to be bullied and cowed. That time is over, and it was over years ago. Speaking the truth is the only way to be decent right now. Everyone - and that includes our politicians - must speak the truth. As the Mayor also reminded us, there is still much wrong here in Toronto. And we’ve seen terrible things happen to shut down peaceful protests to stand against the genocide in Toronto over the past few years. There are communities who do not feel safe. There are systems that must be rebuilt. There is work that lies ahead. That is why NCCM exists. To call for justice in Gaza, and also justice everywhere in Canada. To challenge hate wherever it lives. In policy, in policing, in silence. To remind this country that our values mean nothing unless they apply to everyone.

When narratives are twisted, history is erased, and facts are bent to fit a particular narrative, it is a form of gaslighting. This is especially true when it comes to the ongoing tensions in Kashmir, where misleading claims often dominate the conversation. For example, headlines claim the conflict is just a case of India and Pakistan “fighting yet again.” Scholar-activists claim India is a colonial occupier in Kashmir, erasing the indigenous identity of Kashmiri Pandits and the deep historical ties that bind Kashmir to India. Some claim that Kashmiris have no right to self-determination, ignoring the democratic processes and elections that have been held in the region. To respond effectively to these claims, it’s essential to be equipped with not just context and facts, but a constructive mindset: 👉India is not a colonial occupier of Kashmir. Kashmir has been an integral part of India for thousands of years, long before modern borders existed. 👉Kashmiri Pandits are the indigenous people of Kashmir, with roots that go back millennia. 👉Kashmiris do have a say in their governance, as shown by the democratic elections held in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. Understand the full picture, push back against misinformation, and stand strong in your truth. Hindutva Procession Leicester 25/08/25… On Monday, footage came out of a procession of saffron, Hanuman covered flags through the streets of a Muslim-majority area in Leicester. These flags are associated with the Bajrang Dal, a militant group part of the family of organisations headed by the RSS or Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. It is despicable that we are seeing these flags and this procession anywhere, let alone here. This is reminiscent of what we saw in 2022 in Leicester before the riots broke out in the same spot. So this is a situation to watch closely. This is not Hinduism, this is Hindutva, the political ideology of Hindu supremacy and nationalism, which seeks to stamp out India's non-Hindu, particularly but not only Muslim, culture, heritage, and peoples, and also falsely position my beautiful faith, culture, tradition of Hinduism as a monolithic, exclusionary identity, which could not be further from the truth. Hinduism is by definition a pluralistic, diverse, syncretic tradition. There is no place for the Bajrang Dal, any related organisation, or any related symbolism on the streets of Leicester, the UK, or anywhere. This is a genocidal ideology that will be defeated. The excuse being given is that this was to mark Ganesha Chaturthi, the festival celebrating Ganesha's birthday. This is obviously ridiculous — if these were good-faith celebrations then why are they brandishing flags of Hanuman with no Ganesha iconography? Why were they brandishing flags associated with the violent Bajrang Dal? And why did they carry out their unauthorised procession exactly where the riots of 2022 began in a Muslim-majority area? The truth is obvious. This is blatant intimidation and provocation. #interfaith #multifaith #harmony #Hindu #Hinduism #Muslim #Islam #unity #HinduMuslimUnity #solidarity #community #peace #Hindutva #NoToHindutva Hindus for Human Rights UK Hindus for Human Rights DOAM
