@renoomokri tweeted about this some weeks ago that Nigeria would’ve headed in same direction, if we hadn’t floated Naira and remove subsidies. The practice of defending Naira with our reserve will in a long term be detrimental to our economy, thus running in debt.

Nigeria isn’t on the list so what’s your point? Nigeria won’t be even if you had a top 20 list Just last week, Fitch affirmed Nigeria’s rating at B- and a stable outlook (which is good for FDIs) and says the reforms are faster than expected

The answer is clear. It doesn't align with the negative news that generates significant audience interest. When it comes to positive news, they consider it as the basic minimum, but it's the negative news that captures their attention.
