It’s because men are the ones responsible for creating a home and being indomitable when it comes to holding it up. Otherwise how is a woman supposed to trust them that once they fill said home with love and color, it’ll never come crumbling down around them?

It’s sad. I have an instinctual desire for love, but only if I can provide. If I do nothing for someone or can’t provide something for them and they still love me I feel like I can’t accept that love. To have someone love me for me feels impossible.
