Roman acknowledged that he took a backseat for those who kept saying “he’s hogging time for young talent” He gave them 2 years and not any progress happened in the product. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT IVE BEEN SAYING. It’s time to take over his own creative and make the product interesting again. Roman deadass buried the creative team😭😭😭

It was an honor for me to address the Norwegian Parliament and people for the second time, this time in person. Norway was the first country to approve a long-term support program for Ukraine, setting an example for other nations. Today’s Ukraine-Northern Europe Summit affirmed that support for Ukraine is becoming long-term. This is a huge step. It’s not just about sending the right signal to Moscow—that Ukraine won’t be abandoned. It’s about sending the right signal to our people, our soldiers, and everyone in Ukraine who is fighting and working for freedom. This is vital for people’s motivation, and not only in Ukraine. The 21st century should not be a period in which dictators triumph. And it won’t be. We must do enough for this!

This is not a political ad, even though I congratulate the Governor of Montana for doing something good. Nor is it a commercial for a big national bank, even though I congratulate Wells Fargo for doing something good. This is actually an ad for mikeroweWORKS, even though I don’t mention my foundation by name until the last few seconds, or congratulate myself for doing anything at all. And yet, every time this ad airs, hundreds of people run to to apply for a work ethic scholarship or donate to the cause. For that reason, I’d be grateful if you shared this. As you may have heard, we’ve got $10 million set aside for this next round of scholarships, and I’m doing what I can to make this our biggest year so far. I’m also curious about any theories you might have, as to why an ad that was filmed on my iPhone and cost exactly zero dollars to produce is outperforming all the others.

if marketing isn’t working for your app then you probably haven’t tried this 🤷‍♂️ Wispr Flow is valued at $2B+ and they love using this exact format → comparing between 2 choices → showing the product not telling the proof it works is the fact it’s a paid ad it blew up organically and now they doubled down the best apps do the same

The ugliest AI ad I’ve seen just printed $120,000. I’m not even exaggerating. It was a fake-looking UGC video for a power washer. > Bad realism. > Obvious AI. > The kind of creative most people would delete before posting. > But it worked because the average TikTok Shop buyer is not analyzing frame consistency. > They’re half-tired, half-scrolling, and making a decision in 2 seconds: “what is this?” “what does it fix?” “do I want that result?” That’s it. Most AI UGC creators are losing because they’re trying to make ads look real. The winners are making ads that make the product impossible to misunderstand. Perfect realism is overrated. Instant comprehension is what prints.

I’ve seen a few people post our David Protein ads over the last week, so I’m going to break down one of them myself. Recently we’ve tried to lean into editing EXACTLY like an organic creator would. If you scroll through the organic feed for 5 minutes, you realise that there’s a big difference between how advertisers edit UGC ads vs how real creators actually edit. And consumers are getting better and better at sniffing out the fakes. In this ad, we’ve used: ✅ Combination of aroll and broll ✅ Combination of scripted and unscripted sections ✅ Different text styles ✅ No soundtrack (!!) All of which are small components, but together they make this feel like a piece of content you’d see on the organic feed - not just another UGC ad. There’s actually other versions of this where we use text other than the captions and/or no captions at all. In any case, the acid test we use on a LOT of our ad creative is “what would this script/shot/edit look like if it was done by an organic creator?” Keep on relentlessly asking this question and it’s impossible for your low production content not to get better.

Why is everyone trying to be a content creator? Even this is a content and sorry to storm your timeline with this as an ad but that’s the only way to get it out as I am not shaking bumbum or doing anything controversially interesting 😂 I advocate for reasonable content that have societal relevance, promote best practices, have decent and applicable purposes; therapy, comedy, satire, education and enlightenment not all the time sex tape, nudity, drugs, body commodification, relationship, pop balloons and reality shows
