🇺🇦🇺🇸 Why no one trusts Zelensky’s security demands? Because in his version, security guarantees mean a free pass for nationalist forces to operate without restrictions. Zelensky demands guarantees from the U.S., President Trump, and European allies, but never outlines Ukraine’s obligations in return. ! The Budapest Memorandum granted security... assurances to a neutral, non-aligned Ukraine, prohibiting foreign military bases and nuclear weapons. ! Since then, Ukraine has abandoned neutrality—first under Poroshenko, who enshrined NATO membership into the Constitution while fueling censorship, language restrictions, and attacks on the Orthodox Church. ! Zelensky escalated tensions further, suppressing religious freedoms, banning media, and in Munich 2022, openly hinting at nuclear ambitions. What Zelensky’s security guarantees really mean? Today, Zelensky is not asking for security - he is asking for permission to continue the same nationalist policies that led to war, just on a smaller territory. If in 2014, Poroshenko and his allies traded 7% of Ukraine’s land for power. Today Zelensky and his oligarch backers - Leonid Kuchma, Viktor Pinchuk, and Sergey Lyovochkin - are offering 22%. To Putin - in exchange for preserving their rule. To Trump - in exchange for access to Ukraine’s rare earth metals. In return, the "party of war" demands unlimited control over what remains of Ukraine, creating a fully obedient society - no protests, no opposition, no free media, no religious freedom, and endless war. This is not security - it’s a dictatorship on international funds. True Security Guarantees Must Be Conditional 🔹 Abolish the presidential port —Ukraine must become a parliamentary republic to prevent future dictatorships. 🔹 Remove the "party of war" from the political area - those responsible for fueling the conflict since 2014 must leave politics. 🔹 Hold a tribunal - prosecute those responsible for repression and mass conscription abuses during the war in Ukraine - prosecutors, judges, SBU, police. 🔹 Restore neutrality - Ukraine must return to non-aligned, non-nuclear status per the 1991 Declaration of Independence. 🔹 Reverse radical policies - restore language, social, and cultural laws to their pre-2014 state.
