You can feel depressed or pessimistic about Pune's future.. I as a Pune-ite feel so too from time to time.. but "stuck in time / gives me a Calcutta feel" is click baity. There's rapid & if anything unchecked RE & IT/GCC growth. The skyline & city has evolved rapidly in the last 2 decades. For all it's issues, political apathy & lack of progress on key projects like the New Airport, Ring Road.. Pune still packs a punch.. let's not unnecessarily get carried away.

Pune is in development state since last thirty years, kabi yeah road bund to kabhi wo road n believe me it's unbearable to live. The floating crowd is flocking, real punekars r abandoning its sorry state of affairsand as a city will fail miserably if proper planning is not done
