@emmysteuer Happy to discuss further. It's interesting to see the timeline discussion of this still hasn't shifted to the most important variables in the economic case.

part of the issue is trying to fit the entire discussion into 1.5 minutes. but message me!

@emmysteuer Nice!

🙌🙌

@emmysteuer This video is decent Elon bait.

😜

@emmysteuer girl bffr

@emmysteuer Good breakdown!

Thanks so much!

@emmysteuer @Starcloud_ & @PhilipJohnston will solve this! Starcloud is an awesome company.

@emmysteuer Beautiful gorgeous pretty elegant beauty classy lovely lady hot babe

Followed … love this topic. This was part of my conversation with Grok about thermal transfer without air. Yeah, that’s the big question everyone hits first—no air in space means no convection or conduction for cooling, right? But actually, Elon and others pushing this idea …factors it in by leaning on radiative cooling. In the vacuum of space, heat dumps out purely through infrared radiation from big radiator panels facing deep space, which is like three Kelvin—super cold sinks. It’s how every satellite and the ISS already stays cool; they just need massive surface area for those radiators to reject the gigawatts of waste heat from AI chips. On Earth, we blow air or pump water, but in orbit you get “free” infinite cold background plus constant solar power, so the trade-off is huge deployable fins instead of fans and chillers.

@emmysteuer Didn’t listen to a single word btw

@emmysteuer So it’s more of a pipe dream?

@emmysteuer Can people not absorb information anymore if every breath between sentences isn't edited out?

It’s not really that it’s more that it can get the video way shorter and people are much more likely to watch a video that’s 1.5 minutes rather than 2

Main reason IS regulation you simply can't build more power & get fast inter connect agreements anywhere on earth other then China. ytd GOOG dumped post earnings call mostly because they are keeping their chips idle because they have no power to run them space compute is only being used for processing earth observation data in space is massive denial phase by rather intelligent people still having hard time accepting what future could be. compute in space vastly outpace Earth based compute by 2035 End game is thermodynamics & entropy itself you simply can't build PWs scale power industries on earth because waste heat generated will warm up globally melt oceans waters. civilization HAS to go to orbit to scale past PWs. so at the end of the if that's the only way out why not build towards it right now

@emmysteuer Finally, a practical take on the hype! 🙏🏻 BTW, you also need radiation shielding and engines to move + life support systems if you plan to repair the thing when something breaks.

@emmysteuer As if hardware for AI wasn’t expensive and complicated enough, try making it RAD HARD. Idiots

@emmysteuer Great points! I like the idea of using in-orbit AI primarily for orbital ops at least in the near term, data deluge is indeed a significant issue.

@emmysteuer you could have edited this script to sound less AI-generated with 120 seconds of effort.

@emmysteuer Truth come out things wait and see we and know who right and wrong about things that we have hearing and seeing

@emmysteuer No “you’re welcome”!??!

@emmysteuer @elonmusk check this out!!!!

@emmysteuer

@emmysteuer Data centers are moving to space for the same reason factories were built near rivers: Follow the energy.

@emmysteuer I saw finland are storing their data centers underground, under the city, which in turn benefit from the heat they produce..

need to do a video on this

@emmysteuer Great video Emma!

thank ya!

@emmysteuer Great video!!

Thank ya!

@emmysteuer Yes! You did do datacentre's in space! 🌌🚀👏

@emmysteuer

@emmysteuer we lost the plot

@emmysteuer Yeah let’s build them where humans can’t reach them. Great idea

@emmysteuer Okay, I'm going to sound stupid here, but do we need to worry about a lack of atmosphere, and comets?

@emmysteuer Nice insights

@emmysteuer Why not Antarctica?

@emmysteuer Good stuff

@emmysteuer Nope no more pet projects
