So we ran tests against the leading lip sync tool, HeyGen, and the results were surprising. Seedance Omni held up well, especially in wide cinematic shots and multi-character scenes. The results can still feel a bit unnatural at times, though they improve with iteration. HeyGen continues to perform better for upfront avatar-style lip sync. Still, the fact that we now have a lip sync tool within a video model that can directly compete with HeyGen is real progress.
