We need to turn all three reactors at Indian Point back on, build the third reactor at Nine Mile Point, and fight the bureaucracy that's prevented new nuclear plants for 50 years. Let's call out anti-nuclear-energy people for who they are—advocates of reliance on fossil fuels.

Agree on everything except "centrist democrats." Manchin was trying to bend over backwards to include permitting reform to fix what you're describing, all he got was a kick in the teeth (and later vindication on inflation.) We need to build the bigger tent to fix our systems.

You sorta failed to mention that the NYS Public Service Commission is the body that will hear the rate hike increase. Run by the Govs appointed Democrats, they’ll likely approve a rate hike. Hurting working families.

Idk the bill seems pretty good and addresses some of your concerns. There’s some bad stuff in it for Democrats, but it’s a compromise. If only we had passed “Manchin’s dirty deal,” which would’ve even been better for Dems…
