Exactly! This so-called "border deal" was nothing but a disaster waiting to happen. It’s no wonder it failed when it was more about inviting illegal immigration than securing our borders. It failed for one reason: Republicans are sheep. Donald Trump demanded the GOP kill the bipartisan bill so he could campaign on border security. Republicans obeyed, like sheep. They stopped more officers from being assigned to the border. They stopped more judges & tech.
