Why would anyone choose an Uber or Waymo vs. THIS…? Cheaper. Safer. Fully autonomous. And it looks like it came straight out of the future. That’s the Tesla Cybercab. I really think it’s game over.

Cheaper, cooler, no driver arguing about the route. The hard part was never the pitch deck. It was making that screenshot feel boringly obvious. Unfortunately over here in Europe they'll let us have it in 2069

game changer 🔥 game over

No doubt people will chose cybercab , the question is how soon tesla can scale it to meet the demand?

Sixty years thinking the future would be shiny silver and it turns out to be satin gold.

And no tips needed!

Unless it rains or is foggy or has a fire truck

Cheaper… for who, and when? Near term, Cybercab still has to eat: government fees commercial insurance engineering + R&D debt parts network that barely exists power / charging grid that isn’t built for fleets A human Uber driver? No fleet payment No electric car high prices for parts No nationwide service grid that isn't there. No regulatory stack priced in yet. So yeah... the finished product looks like the future. But until the debt is paid down and the structural grid for parts and power is actually there… paying a driver is still the cheaper.

The only thing is 2 seater. Larger groups need another choice, however there will be a next generation cybercab to accommodate

The golden future

Even an Uber driver with 19k rides and 4.9 stars we’ve all had that thought when they don’t speak a lick of English.

The future of rideshare is looking less like Uber and more like a sci fi movie. 🤖 @DoggieMode definitely knows where it’s going. 🐶⚡ $DOGGIE

완벽

You all or so clueless. The software will be opensourced. Chinese companies have driven over 100 million miles unsupervised They all operate at a loss vs investment Thats a 2 seater. People will choose larger cars for the same price when the market is flooded. l

austin wait times already kinda answer this

No most people have family and friends won’t use this 💩 #Tesla #Cybercab is a joke compared to using #Uber or #Lyft

Agreed, if given the options of all 3, cybercab/robotaxi hands down… there is not a better option.

🥇

Why pay more for less when autonomous rides are heading this direction? Game changer.

To be fair, Waymo is marginally safer than cybercab ATM. But the extra cost is too high to justify the marginally extra safety. Overtime, more than 90% of the market will conclude that the extra safety is not worth the extra cost.

I like this take. It feels balanced.

The future arrives with a surprisingly aggressive seating limit.

That Cybercab still looks like it came from next decade. Very cool.

Waiting for the doors to be sheared off in a crowded city street

Tesla has had multiple problems with their non driver cars including endangering & killing human life

Look how far out this Uber driver is. Watch right side. He decides to accelerate to rush the advanced green but already turned red. Pedestrians have already started crossing and are halfway . I also go. Uber in Toyota RAV4 slams on the brakes. This is exactly why no one will never wanna choose an Uber. As @chansoo correctly noted for years… they are leech company. I can’t wait till they go bankrupt.

Bc they have own car and live in burbs and it’s free? Bc they live in blue city and don’t like musk politics and will use their right to spend their values ?

Tesla explodes and burns and you 💀

If it’s cheaper and safer, fleet economics and charging/coverage matter more than looks.

Don’t forget Cleaner. So many Ubers are crappy inside.

because @Tesla @robotaxi is not fully available in Houston 😕 will always love @Waymo tho 🤍

Look at the size of the trunk! And virtually no trunk lip. Nice!

With its overwhelming cost advantage, safety, and futuristic design, Cybercab is poised to be a true game-changer in the ride-hailing market. It clearly signals a shift in autonomous mobility leadership toward platforms that deliver both economic viability and technological perfection.

The product edge is compelling, but “game over” starts when Austin proves the unit economics at scale—roughly 45 Cybercabs cannot create the same network effect as ~420 Model Ys.
