Why You Should Read the Same Book Again

Sounds like you should publish a revision / 2nd edition.

Rereading lets you spot details or ideas you missed the first time. For example, a story’s twists might make more sense-or feel more satisfying-when you know what’s coming.

We read for facts, reread for identity. The second pass is where you stop consuming the text and start letting it consume you. That’s where the discipline actually kicks in.
