In response to me saying Ghost of Yotei has the most "majestic and beautiful" horse riding in gaming, some said Red Dead Redemption 2 tops it. Realism alone doesn't equate to the above. RDR2's a stunning game, but its horse riding can be rather sterile in comparison to Yotei. It doesn't have near the same artistry, colour, vibrancy, mass flocks of animals, lush foliage, wide angle and cinematic in gameplay camera, aggressive weather/wind dynamics, as many effects, particles, the DualSense feedback and so on. There's a reason I listed Zelda and Shadow of the Colossus in my top examples. Again, it's about so much more than just realistic graphics, animations, or horse balls lol. It's a culmination of all these other components that come together to make something feel so much more majestic and beautiful, and it's why Yotei clears RDR2 in said areas.
