I hear that people are boasting that they (President Tinubu) will call me and give me instructions. Let me tell you, there's nothing like instruction as far as Rivers State is concerned. Nobody will call me. If you like shout 'on your mandate' 50 times a day, it won't give you automatic ticket. - FCT Minister Nyesom Wike

This land in Guzape was allocated for PARK and RECREATION. But the allottee was constructing a RESIDENTIAL Housing Estate on the land. Structures on it was demolished today. If you are among those who carry on with the mindset that NOTHING WILL HAPPEN, the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, is reminding you again, something will happen except you do the right thing.

President Maduro on his call with Trump: “I received, I had a call and spoke with the President of the United States, Donald Trump. I can say that the conversation was respectful in tone. I can even say it was cordial between the President of the United States and the President of Venezuela. I will say more: if that call means that steps are being taken toward a respectful dialogue between states, from country to country, then dialogue is welcome, diplomacy is welcome, because we will always seek peace.”

I said I will support the President from day one. I never told Mr. President I will join APC. Go and ask him. If I want to join APC, it's not people like Hope who will tell me to join APC. In fact, he is lucky I’m not in APC because I wouldn’t take that kind of rubbish he is doing in APC. - Wike

You can be a Minister, but without the President’s support, you won’t perform well. That’s why every morning I tell my wife she prays a lot, I don’t know how to pray well. My own prayer is ‘God let me come back home safely.’ But I tell her: keep praying that President Tinubu will not look away from us. - FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike

I have a friend in Uganda who I've been telling to come to Nigeria so she can compare both countries. She has always said no to my request, but last month she was asking me: 'Who is Mr. Wike (wrong pronunciation)?' I said we don't have any Mr. Wike in Nigeria. So I asked her to spell 'Wike', and immediately I said, 'It's Wike.' She said, 'Can you deploy that man to Uganda?' - Professor Julius Ihonvbere, Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, recounts conversation with his Ugandan friend about FCT Minister Nyesom Wike`

Not while we live will anybody take the PDP structure from us. I hear that some governors claim they will take the structure and give it to somebody. I pity those governors because I will put fire in their states. - The Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, has issued a warning to state governors for pledging their support to Governor Fubara.
