🚨COMING TUESDAY, 9pm: Larry Sanger Larry Sanger will announce a fantastic new initiative that occurred to him while we were interviewing about his "Nine Theses"—the series of essays he "nailed" to the door of Wikipedia, in a serious attempt to foster reform. Activist editors turned our The Epoch Times Wikipedia page into a wild pack of lies over the past decade, which impacts our readership and of course business. For our media, which has as a major purpose to be able to communicate difficult and controversial issues (like we originally did in the early 2000's about China and the CCP) to people who lack good information, this is a HUGE problem. Many of these people, due to Wikipedia's legacy halo of neutrality and fairness, will still believe it to be a neutral arbitrator of reality, and if they believe the mad falsehoods injected into our page, they may steer clear—instead of checking our work out for themselves, being intrigued and subscribing. So I'm a big fan of Larry Sanger, his Nine Theses, his heart to find ways to truly faithfully democratize knowledge—and of this new idea he's developing as we speak. After testifying against reparations for slavery, certain editors removed that he’s half African American. “Because if I’m not African American, then you can discount my opinion on race issues.” In Coleman’s case, the information was eventually corrected.
