Syrax, Seasmoke, and Caraxes jumping Sheepstealer was the dumbest tactical move Team Black could have made. You don't corner a completely wild, feral dragon and expect it to just fold. They're lucky any of them made it out of that clearing alive. Rhaena abandoning Sheepstealer, now it is hard to believe she will ever gain any control.
