These meetings are a joke. All we get is recycled talking points, excuses, and a front-row seat to watch how our tax dollars are being wasted. That's it. Nothing discussed in these meetings is focused on helping the taxpaying citizens of Chicago. Nothing. They give the appearance that they're fighting for you. The more you watch, the more you realize how disconnected these elected officials are from the people paying the bills. As Mayor, I will change that. My administration will launch forensic audits of city departments, contracts, grants, and taxpayer-funded programs. We will identify waste, fraud, abuse, and corruption and make the findings public. Every department receiving taxpayer dollars will be required to show results and public reports. Failed programs will no longer receive money. I will create a Chicago DOGE Office dedicated to rooting out wasteful spending and ensuring taxpayer money is spent on public safety, neighborhood investment, infrastructure, economic development, and services that benefit Chicago citizens.
