The haunting sound of hundreds of PASS (Personal Alert Safety System) devices chirping in the rubble after the towers fell. Each one represents a fallen hero. I can't get that sound out of my head.

Third video from CBS cameraman Mark LaGanga footage after the collapse of the South Tower and PASS Alarms can be heard throughout the background noise.

Heartbreaking. I've seen a lot of footage from 9/11, but I've never seen this. It really shows the devastation, not just of the Twin Towers, but the massive area surrounding the Towers. May all those who lost their lives that day be remembered, and may we always be grateful to every one of the first responders who ran towards the danger that day, instead of away. May God bless them. 💔🫡🇺🇸 Thank you for posting this.

@wajacobson This guy was so calm, cool, and collected, I started thinking about psychopathy research regarding doctors and surgeons. 😅 I don't mean that negatively, at all. His composure was just extremely admirable and the narration so matter of fact.

@wajacobson I don't think I have ever seen this one. Thank you for sharing these.

@wajacobson Wow I’ve never seen this footage. Unbelievable

There is one segment that is not from a fallen firefighter and it's around 2-minute 15 second time frame where the cameraman is with a group of firefighters and you can see one of them. His alarm is going off but the rest of the video no such indicators of it being firefighters walking around on West Street

@wajacobson I remember seeing this footage, or at least clips of it, on YouTube back in 08. It’s just haunting
