Willow released 38 years ago today. 20 May 1988 ⚔️

Don’t ever forget that Disney turned this classic into a Lesbian TV show with woke girls and a bunch of Indian guys playing knights. Then the show was canceled and erased. Just in time for Warwick Davis’ wife (who he met on Willow) to pass away. It’s a sickening disgrace.

Amazing movie everyone should watch!

A great adventure!

Such a bad ass skull mask 💀

Had nightmares about that mask. 😵‍💫

Nightmare on Elm St 2 got me. Something about the hand to glove transformation and those creepy ass shower scenes 🔥 😂

I still love shouting “Out of the way, Peck!” at people who linger in the grocery aisles

I have vivid memories of seeing this in the theater with my mom. I was 5. Gave me weird dreams.

One of my all time favorites. RIP Val Kilmer he was bad ass Madmartigan

I watched this many times as a kid and still enjoy it today. Funny how "peck" is just the accepted slur used against the Nelwyns/little folks, like all over the lands and even the sorceress in the end calls Willow peck 😅

The series was so bad they delisted it to pretend like it never existed

My brother hyped this movie so much, I was too young to understand anything so I went with the flow and enjoyed the movie from his point of view. Everytime I see the name Willow I remember my brother’s chat of the name back to back 😊😊😊 moments that brought us together

Saw this at the cinemas upon its initial release and loved it! Great fantasy film.

He really is a great swordsman

Loved that movie

One of the best heroic fantasy movies ever! 🥰

I still want Willow to have one more chance at a proper big screen sequel. There's still time to make the Shadow War trilogy a proper follow up.

Out of the way, Peck!

“Magic is the bloodstream of the universe. Forget all you know, or think you know…”

Do you think the guy who read the voice over like saw the trailer or just read words on a page and was like.. 'wtf is a willow?'

MAD MARDIGAN!

@Damienx247 God that makes me feel old. I vividly remember seeing this in the theater.

My favorite little peck

I saw this in theaters, and now I feel very old.

I never understood why this movie wasn't more popular.

Very cool and fun movie.

Kill the beast, find the baby!!

I watched this movie when I was 5 🤣🤣, being born in the 80's was somehting else I tell you

Absolutely love this movie. Just watched it last week.

😍

I remember seeing the first trailers in theaters when I was a kid. They were pretty dark and it was originally showing as rated R. Lots of monsters and the skull helmet.
