When wind speeds are over 80km an hour, it isn’t safe for our crews to be up in the buckets and so we focus on assessing damage, responding to 911 calls, and restoring power from the ground where possible. In some parts of the province, we anticipate that these significant winds will continue for much of today. We do our best to give an estimate of when power will be restored.
