I could be wrong but it sounds like this dude is describing what is commonly known as winter. I remember snow on Halloween. The blizzard of ‘78. A snow storm in butte Montana on JULY forth. Or -68 in Rawlings Wyoming. It’ll be ok buddy. Just go back to bed now.

Alaska here, biggest thing is leave earlier, way earlier, slow down, stay off your phones, make sure your vehicle has warm weather gear in it, jumper cables or a jump box, flares!, get studded tires or purchase blizzack tires. Head lights on. Extra water and food and toilet paper. Do not be in a rush to go anywhere.

Making it sound so unusual. You are so full of it. Where I live we have temperatures-20 to - 25 just about every winter specialty in January. Then you include the windchill you can get-30 to-40. Don’t threaten me with a good time.

Grew up in 60's and 70's ..-40F was the norm in winter for 3 months. Suck it up.

I grew up in a city that had a catastrophic ice storm. The entire city of 200k+ was without power for almost 2 months in most places as all the lines came down everywhere. There was a lot of death and many people never recovered financially.

I still can’t fathom how they can predict the weather and don’t come at me with satellites and weather balloons and whatever but things change daily wind factors. They can’t predict all this shit. This is why this stuff is Man made which they’re screaming global warming.

Feb 2021 every pipe in my house froze and we lost electricity. We were burning furniture to stay warm. It got the -14°F because of the wind chill. It was a rough week.

I live on Long Island and right after Christmas in 2017 all the pipes in my house froze over. $10,000 in damage including a new burner. It’s honestly nothing that we haven’t dealt with before.

I lived in PA during an ice storm we have inches of snow and at night it rained and temps dropped so drastic everything was covered in an inch of ice. Trees broke, lines were down we were without power for 10 days pipes didn't freeze
