It is believed that the train pulled into Leyton Underground station at around 10.13pm and smoke was seen coming from the carriage. The carriage of the train has suffered extensive damage. I shall continue to fight for a through train to London from Grimsby via Market Rasen, as I have done for years now. Grimsby is one of the largest towns in England to not have a through train to London, the Government is not prepared to spend the under £1 million it'd cost to do this, yet we are willing to continue to commit many many times more than that to HS2.
