With D’Andre Swift questionable it brings back up the question why didn’t the Bears add another RB. J.K. Dobbins was available right before the season. His stats: 30 carries 140 yards 2 TD 4.6 YPC (3.3 yards after contact) Could have been a nice depth piece. #DaBears #Bears

Michigan State has already been in contact with Top Transfer RB out of Ferris State Kannon Katzer (Kannon Katzer) who has 2 years of eligibility remaining. Katzer had a big time 2024 season with 128 ATT - 1,128 Rushing Yards 11 Rushing TDs (8.8 YPC) 21 REC - 301 Yards - 3 TDs 14 TOTAL TDs Has the ability to contribute as a KR/PR as well. Dan Orlovsky said the Bears least proven WR room in the NFL bc last year they had nobody top 70 in catches or top 50 in yards. He said the group is gonna have to improve or the Bears offense isn’t gonna be what people expect it to be. I think Dan Orlovsky does a great job, but this is where the spreadsheet misses the football. Yes, the Bears WR room is young. Using raw career catches and yards to call it a weakness is shortsighted. Rome Odunze missed 5 games and still finished with 44 catches 661 yards and six TDs. Luther Burden missed 2 games but if you watched the Bears you know his production was the tale of two seasons. He went from 24.4 YPG in his first 7 games to 60.1 over his final 8 which is a 1,022-yard pace. He also finished 3rd in the league in yards per route run. And if we’re evaluating weapons leaving out Colston Loveland is unfair. From Week 9 on, he had 47 catches 597 yards and 6 TDs. Those 597 yards ranked 2nd among all TEs. He then added 193 yards in 2 playoff games. They might be inexperienced but they’re not lacking talent. I think the pass-catching group as a whole is a strength of this roster. #DaBears #Bears

DJ Moore was a top 5 WR in 2023 He was #6 in yards in the entire NFL ( 1364 yards) He has averaged at least 1k in yards for the majority of his career even with poor QB play So answer me this… Why did he just have lowest yardage in his career in a Ben Johnson offense?! The truth is, DJ Moore has been the Chicago Bears best player offensively since he has arrived The truth is, DJ Moore is not being utilized properly by coaching or by QB The truth is, Justin Fields and DJ Moore had a special connection on the football field that Caleb Williams can’t replicate And for that… Bears fans will scapegoat Moore Williams is the Bears QB and the future is bright But, It is not right how this fanbase and media is treating Moore He deserves better.. They will rid this team of all Justin Fields closest teammates So be it..

All 12 Brashard Smith Carries in Week 18...had 57 yards for the Kansas City Chiefs With 3 backup OL that showed up in various moments. Flashed Explosiveness that should have got him on the field more when it was blocked up, but missed cutbacks showing the lack of polish as a RB. Still feel good about him being a RB3 entering camp next season.

New Orleans has now won four straight games with the rookie under center, marking the first time the Saints have won four or more consecutive games in the same season with one starting quarterback since Drew Brees did it during his final season in 2020, when he led a six game win streak. After throwing for 308 yards last week, Shough followed it up with 333 passing yards today, becoming the first rookie quarterback since C.J. Stroud to post back to back 300 yard passing games.

🐆Tyreek Stats vs. The Commanders 🐆 We tallied up Tyreek's 157 yards to find his new totals! Wow. Cheetah is on pace for a record-breaking season. I thought last week was special giving out a no homework pass, but this week, they did it again. We had ANOTHER student predict Tyreek's yards EXACTLY. These kids surprise me every day. They are no longer just writing down random numbers and are really looking at the data to make their predictions. The math is totalllly mathing. After adding up our totals, Tyreek Hill now needs 104 yards per game to reach his goal. I decided to throw a brain twister their way, and they were not phased. In the past, the NFL regular season was only 16 games. How many yards per game would Tyreek hill need if he had a 16-game regular season? Well, you just divide his total yards by 4 instead of 5 to get a total of 130 yards (129.75 if we are getting technical). We are excited to see Tyreek match up against the Titans, under the lights, for Monday Night Football Teach, out 🎤 🫡 Pro Football Network

Eleven years ago today, Alabama defeated Notre Dame 42-14, capturing their 15th National Championship. Hanging out with the Irish fans all week in Miami was a treat; I learned that they created football, and without them, the game as we know it could never be played. However, after just 15 minutes of football, I couldn’t find any of them, as AJ McCarron, Eddie Lacy, Amari Cooper and the greatest offensive line in college football history completely took control of the game. Alabama led 28-0 at halftime, and Brian Kelly remarked that the only way Notre Dame had a chance in the second half was if Alabama chose not to come out of the locker room. This National Championship game was one of my favorite games to cover. Let’s give a shoutout with a “Roll Tide” for this incredible group of players! The senior class achieved an impressive feat, winning three National Championships in four years—a rarity that we may never see again in college football. Day 285. Today I walked back to the bridge. The same bridge where, years ago, I was 350 yards from Drake’s house and 350 yards from mine. It might as well have been a universe away. I was facing the lowest point of my life. I almost let go of the rope. I almost stopped believing. I almost turned around. But I didn’t. I took one step. Then another. Then another. And slowly, I started walking out of the valley. Most people think success happens when you arrive. I’ve learned it happens when you decide not to quit. Same method. Every day. Show up. Put in the work. It compounds.

Thoughts on the Bears’ LT competition: Unpopular opinion: this thing is WIDE open. Jedrick Wills didn’t move the needle much for me when the Bears signed him, but I’ve been impressed with what I’ve seen in camp. I’ve played with Jason Peters, Lane Johnson, Nate Solder and some other really talented tackles. Wills has uncommon power, bend and athleticism for a man his size. He hasn’t been perfect and you can tell he’s still shaking off some rust, but you can also see why he was a top-10 pick. The athletic traits are still there: ▪️ 5.05 40 ▪️ 35” vertical ▪️ 9’5” broad jump ▪️ 34.5” arms There’s a lot to work with. I’m not saying Wills wins the job, but I would not be surprised at all if he’s playing meaningful snaps for the Bears at some point this season. #DaBears #Bears #ChicagoBears
