With only a few months left until its release, I'm wondering how close #GodzillaMinusOne is to the original 1954 #Godzilla film. If it is a prequel or remake, let us hope it'll be an amazing recreation of the first film and as epic as this is!

Speed is as close to “perfect” as an action film can get. Keanu Reeves is insane for handling some of these stunts himself. The magic of this film is its pacing- there is never a moment of reprieve, never a moment where Dennis Hopper lets up. This film is fucking relentless.

The First “Killer Robot” ever seen. Mechanical Man (1921) is an Italian science fiction film from the silent era. It is an interesting and rare film. It prominently features a robot as it's primary antagonist, or at least as a part of the primary antagonist. The robot is controlled remotely by a nefarious operator. At the end of the film she is defeated when she is separated from the remote control. While this movie may have the first killer robot on film. The debate on the first movie robot is a difficult one to put to rest. If the definition of a robot is stretched much earlier movies feature some kind of artificially intelligent machine. There are also a few lost serials and films which featured some kind of robotic creature from the 1910s, I have found a source I am investigating for these films.
