I conveyed the unwavering commitment of MDP Secretariat towards protecting the hard-earned democratic gains in #Maldives and supporting democracy worldwide. Our world is currently faced with a democratic decline, loss of confidence in democracy as a whole and new characteristic of authoritarianism taking root. At #IDUForum2024, I underscored the importance of working together to tackle these new challenges.
