The idea is to stimulate the high threshold motor units with a low-velocity, high-load exercise like OISO Split-Squat Pin Pull in the video. This ramps up the nervous system and activates fast twitch fibers, enabling Aaron to produce greater force in the jumps that follow. By integrating these four exercises, we can boost both peak power and endurance.
