With steady progression on Pramod Somashekar's #Midway Z-Unit (NARC) core, we decided to take a look at the Y-Unit board... Here's a first look at MK running on the #Analogue Pocket. Let the Kombat begin! #CoinOpCollection #MortalKombat #PocketFPGA [1/2]

Overall, MK runs smooth. There's very little VRAM flicker for a first attempt. We'll start debugging the one-hit death, FMV playback, and implement ADPCM for sound. I'd like to congratulate @pr4m0d! Your hard work is paying off! Thanks for including me. It's been a fun project to work on and I've learned a lot in the process! #CoinOpCollection #MortalKombat #PocketFPGA [2/2]

@pr4m0d Holy shit this is absolutely amazing!!

@pr4m0d Thank you and @pr4m0d for making my day! You have me thinking now; MK1 came on both Y-unit and T-unit. Is the T-unit more complex, or just a version change similar to 2-chip vs 1-chip SNES?

@pr4m0d Hell yea brother! Great job guys!

@pr4m0d My most desired arcade kore. Great job, team.

@pr4m0d The OG is my favorite MK, so this is a treat.

@MARSFPGA @pr4m0d can you chaps build on Analogizer output support whilst you’re at it? many thanks

@pr4m0d Wow guys.

@pr4m0d

@pr4m0d 'Outstanding'! like a farmer in his field. The Analogue pocket runs it like a champ. I'm always fascinated by the upper limit that it can run Is Killer Instinct a bridge to far?
