📢 Speaking before his action at University of Exeter, Eddie, 25, said: 💬 "I'm about to disrupt my own graduation ceremony. Exactly 3 months ago, I disrupted the snooker world championship. I'm taking these actions because our government has failed young people like me." 💬 "They have failed to cut greenhouse gas emissions in line with science. They have failed to prepare us for the inevitable disruption that they have caused. They're driving our society towards collapse by continuing to allow new oil, gas and coal. This is a violation of the advice of the International Energy Agency, the United Nations and thousands and thousands of climate scientists all around the world, who have been warning us for years: new fossil fuels means death." 💬 "As a result, 1 billion people may be displaced from their homes by 2030. That's 7 years away. We face a future of mass-starvation and unimaginable suffering, including here in the UK. And all of this is happening so a small handful of extremely rich people can carry on getting even richer." 💬 "Universities, rather than preparing young people for this inevitable disruption, are instead upholding a status quo that is going to kill millions, if not billions of people. That's why I'm calling on students everywhere to join us in resistance against this criminal government." 💬 "What use is a university degree if you can't feed yourself? What use is an "education" if society is collapsing around you? Each one of us has a choice: die quietly or get into resistance. It's now or never." 🖋️ Join Just Stop Oil Students in action and resist new oil, gas and coal. Sign up and join a Zoom call on Thursday, July 20 at 6pm —

So Mark Carney is in Canada, prepping the ground for the WEF's "climate competitiveness" agenda. Listen past the buzzwords. Here’s what he’s really saying: He says: "Our focus is on climate competitiveness." He means: We will fuse climate policy with corporate profit. Your national economy will be retooled to serve a global ESG framework dictated by Davos. He says: Look at "low carbon" offshore oil & gas as a "key driver of competitiveness." He means: The goal isn't to phase out fossil fuels; it's to let massive, connected corporations (who can afford the compliance costs) dominate under the guise of being "green." Smaller players get crushed. He says: Massive hydro projects will power AI data centers and create "new economic opportunities." He means: Your natural resources will be leveraged to power the next energy-hungry frontier for Big Tech, all while being rebranded as a climate solution. It's not about your local community; it's about feeding globalist tech ambitions. He says: Our home-building strategy is about "lower carbon, more efficient" homes. He means: We will create a new regulated industry where your ability to build or buy a home is tied to your adherence to our climate dictates. It's a top-down control mechanism over another fundamental aspect of life. The core message? The climate crisis is no longer about saving the planet; it's the perfect, unquestionable narrative to justify a fundamental economic restructuring. Competitiveness is redefined as compliance with a centralized, unaccountable vision. This isn't environmentalism. It's corporatism wrapped in a green flag.

"A severe lack of knowledge.” I wonder how our 21 year-old Senator would go with this CLIMATE QUIZ …. 1. If Australia where to go Net Zero by 2050 (and assuming C02 is the control knob for global temperatures as per the IPCC estimates) to the nearest 1/100th of a degree, what will be the difference average global temperatures at the end of this century ? 2. As a percentage, what is the level of CO2 currently in the atmosphere? 3. Australia has 21 GW of coal-fired capacity left, all of which is to be eliminated by 2050 under Net Zero. What is the total capacity in GW of the new coal-fired power stations under construction in China ? 4. Australia mines around 390 million tonnes of coal annually. How many million tonnes of coal does India mine annually, and by how many millions of tonnes are they planning to increase it by over the next 5 years 5. As a percentage of C02, what is the ideal level of Co2 in the atmosphere. 6. Explain the chemical difference between "Carbon pollution" and the CO2 that turns still water in sparkling mineral water. 7. Of Australia’s total "emissions" that are planned to be reduced to Net Zero - what percentage of these total emmissions come from electricity generation ? 8. To the nearest degree, what is the current average global temperature ? 9. To the nearest degree, what is the ideal average global temperature ? 10. Being from South Australia, in what year did the highest temperature ever record in SA occur. 11. In what year did Adelaide experience its longest run of extremely hot days ? 12. According to the peer-reviewed research, what has been trend in rainfall over past 150 years in Adelaide? 13. What has been the trend in the number of Australian cyclones (both severe and non severe) since 1970 - are they increasing, decreasing or steady 14. Over the past century, is the area of Australia beung burnt annually by bushfires increasing, decreasing or steady. 15. What is the biggest killer; extreme hot weather or extreme cold weather? 16. How will Net Zero be achieved in the agriculture sector, where the "emmissions" to be reduced to Net Zero come from the burps and farts 17. Explain how the subsidies work for roof-top solar 18. What will be the penalty payable on a new Ford Ranger in 4 years time under the so-called vehicle efficiency standards If have such a lack of knowledge, that you can’t answer questions, you have no place commenting on Net Zero and no place speaking about in Parliament.

42 Years Ago CBS Told The World Earth’s Temperature Was Rising Out Of Control Due To Burning Coal & Oil 25% of Florida is about to be flooded and a “widespread disruption of agriculture” is coming It’s been 42 years and literally nothing has changed. “Concerned about rising temperatures on planet Earth heated up a hearing here in Washington today. For years, scientists have theorized about the dangers of the so called greenhouse effect, the warming of the Earth's atmosphere due to the burning of coal and oil. And in recent months, as David Culhane reports, research has uncovered facts to support that theory. Many scientists claim that the temperature of the atmosphere has been rising over the past 100 years, that the great sheets of pack ice in Antarctica are melting at a much more rapid rate than previously. Finally, that the sea level has been rising with increasing swiftness over the past 40 years. If these scientists are correct, about 25% of Florida would be flooded along with low lying areas all over the world. Climate changes could produce widespread disruption of agriculture. The American farm belt might be too dry and the wheat and corn crops would have to move to Canada. Scientists blame the odorless, colorless carbon dioxide gas for these potentially dangerous changes around the planet. It is the greenhouse effect. The gas allows sunlight to filter down and warm the Earth, but like the glass of a greenhouse, the carbon dioxide tends to trap heat so that it cannot rise into space. The scientists maintain that the coal, oil, and gas we've been burning for a 100 years have produced more and more carbon dioxide and helped overheat the Earth. Now some political leaders endorse the demands for more C02 monitoring stations like this one in Hawaii, and they share the anger of the scientists at Reagan administration budget cuts at a time when they feel closer to getting definitive answers. We are not doing the kind of research that we should be doing to determine whether or not these scientists who are so alarmed are correct in their assessment. And what they find out will affect the lives and fortunes of millions of people, the very survival of cities like this one (See video), David Culhane, CBS News, New York.
