With your help Calgary, we are making progress repairing the water feeder main break. Some of what you can see: ➡️ Damaged pipe has been completely removed. ➡️ Couplings/adaptor are being fitted to the pipe. ➡️ A second robot in the pipe (out of view) is gathering data

Where's the truck that can drive through that pipe?

That's good but why is the Mayor saying now it won't be finished until middle of next week????

Why is the repair taking so long? This is critical infrastructure so you would think time is of the essence. Are you testing the patience of Calgarians?

I have a question. 🙋‍♂️ After they repair this portion of the pipe, how will we know that another section of this 50-year-old pipe isn't going to fail the next week? What's the long term plan to ensure this doesn't happen again?

Here's an idea: Council should spend more on infrastructure and less on climate emergencies and sucking up to the federal government. It's called "Doing your job!"

@yyctransport This is taking way too long! It’s a piece of pipe for goodness sake, not a bridge or building collapse! The incompetence of city hall is rampant and the woke nonsense about water restrictions is getting tiring! Fix it!

Reminder: You can quadruple the demand for water because we rezoned the entire city, and "we got this"
