Woman says she wants reparations (“restitution”) or she’ll commit violence. She should ask Democrats, they’re the ones who promoted slavery.

This woman will say she’s never gotten reparations so it doesn’t matter. That’s her mindset.

I have been convinced and won over by the reparations argument. Let's offer reparations as follows: one, one-way ticket to the African country of your choice in exchange for abandoning your US Citizenship. The offer is open to any and all who identify as oppressed.

For what? No one’s ever done anything to her. No one’s enslaved her.

Exactly. She just wants free stuff for doing nothing.

You don’t get reparations for something you never personally experienced. I don’t get reparations for what happened to my Native American ancestors or my Jewish ancestors, and I wouldn’t expect to. That’s history. It was painful, but it’s not something I get to profit from. This idea that you can inherit victimhood through bloodline makes no sense. Oppression isn’t passed down genetically. You don’t “own” trauma just because you’re related to someone who went through it. You didn’t live it. You weren’t there. You don’t get to claim it. Everyone has pain somewhere in their family tree. That doesn’t mean you walk around expecting a payout for something that didn’t happen to you. Trauma isn’t inherited like a family heirloom. It’s a lived experience. It’s not something you get to collect on just because you share DNA with someone who suffered. Cashing in on historical suffering you never went through isn’t justice. It’s entitlement. And honestly, it cheapens the suffering of the people who actually lived through it. We should remember history, learn from it, and honor those who came before us. But we don’t get to wear their wounds like a badge just to demand something for ourselves. That’s not how moral responsibility works. You want to move forward? Take accountability for your own life and stop treating the past like a personal lottery ticket. That’s how real progress happens.

I’m sure @RepJasmine would be happy to lead the charge and “holla at” Congress for some reparations.
