I loaded 53’ trailers in college at UPS. It always amazed me how management would trot a new 110lb female down the line almost weekly. She’d either be moved to another area (bypassing Union seniority) or would quit on the job forcing the male loaders to finish her trucks... It says you need to be able to lift 50lbs in the job description!

She's way too out of shape to be doing that kinda work. No matter if a man or not, you need to be fit for the job period

At least she is actually trying. She is trying in more ways than one when most folks these days barely even attempt to try one. 1. She had to willingly apply for this job. 2. She more than likely had to be interviewed which I would assume she showed up for. 3. She then had to show up for the actual work day. 4. In this short clip I never once seen her try to stop or give up, never heard her complain. The person recording this video sounds rude and unprofessional. Notice how another employee takes the time to actually show her and explain the incident and how it happened? All the one recording did was complain the entire time. She clearly realized early on she may have either underestimated her abilities for the job or didn’t fully grasp what all the job entailed when she started. The clear “I think I made a mistake..” statement when she couldn’t physically help her coworker with the logs was proof of that. I’m sure this job wasn’t her first choice or only application put in. Everyone is so quick to judge a situation and assume it is a woman trying to make a point or trying to do a man’s job or whatever.. but just from this short clip alone I don’t see how anyone could make that assumption. Most people nowadays would have quit after the log situation and left him to finish the day by himself. She didn’t. And he was still ragging her out the whole time, being rude. How are you supposed to know if you’re capable of doing a job for payment or not if you don’t try or aren’t given the opportunity to try? I just don’t get the point in recording her and complaining the whole time..?

I once worked in a warehouse, and we had very heavy pallets to load. The pallets were loaded one man, one pallet, or ten women, one pallet. I pointed out to the supervisor that it was ten women doing the job one man did, and it might make sense to hire fewer women, since maybe 70% of the people working there were women. We would get more done with fewer people. And on top of that, the women often got in our way, slowing us down as well. My suggestions were not received very well.
