Went back to do Takezo The Unrivaled (one of Ghost of Yotei's hardest bosses) after getting further in the game and absolutely BULLIED him on Lethal! 🔥 Yari + good charms + Tanzutsu (pistol) + spirit attacks = annihilation. #PS5Pro gameplay. #PS5 #GhostofYotei #GhostOfYōtei

On hard/lethal, these guys are TOUGH lol. If you beat them you always get a nice new cosmetic or item, if you don't they catch you alive and take you to a camp where you have to escape and fight 2 instead of 4, but don't get the item lol. #GhostofYotei #GhostOfYōtei #PS5 #PS5Pro

LOL. These guys were so scared of the "Onryo" (Ghost) they saw me and immediately bolted half naked across the valley! 🤣 Ghost of Yotei has one of the best passive and organic reputation systems in a game. Towns/village people, bounty hunters, bounties, soldiers, bandits, gangs, bosses etc are all increasingly aware of your prowess and escapades. Not only does it impact your conversations and interactions, but bounty hunters and bounties will react and hunt accordingly, and the public will even leave you gifts etc. #GhostofYotei #GhostOfYōtei #PS5Pro #PS5

Is Ghost of Yotei's Takezo The Unrivaled the hardest boss of 2025? On Hard/Lethal he's straight bullying me! 😭 Wipes 95%+ of my health in one hit, parry timings super tight and frost takes health over time too! 💀 Expedition 33's Simon (non cheese) is up there, but as far as I know Takezo can't be cheesed like Simon can. Both make Silksong's Savage Beastfly (both variants) and Groal the Great seem almost easy in comparison lol. #GhostofYotei #GhostOfYōtei #PS5Pro #PS5

Not only is Ghost of Yotei's combat incredible, but it's a notable improvement over Tshushima, evident with anything more than surface level knowledge and analysis. Compared to its predecessor, it has far more aggressive AI, movesets, faster attack patterns, parries, dodges, much smaller parry windows, added dynamism, more tools/weapons, mechanics, enemy variety etc. All of which come together to make the actual flow of combat more demanding, diverse and precise, with a more frenetic and deadly feel. On Hard/Lethal, while a decent player can make the game LOOK easy, in reality it's surprisingly challenging, with death always a single mistake or split second or few away. I've died more in Yoei than some Soulsborne titles lol. It also makes Tsushima feel almost easy in comparison, even on Lethal. Perhaps it's harder as I play in Miikei mode (close up camera and extra blood), but I wouldn't have it any other way! 🔥 #PS5Pro gameplay video. #GhostofYotei #GhostOfYōtei #PS5
