── #TheEarlySpring, Sun Qian’s reaction is sooo cute 😭 But no one is surviving those puppy-dog eyes 🥹 👤 Is there any scene or moment that made you feel really heart-fluttering too, like us viewers, where your heart just gets hit and you can’t help but kick your blanket while watching? SQ: I have one. JBR: You do? SQ: Every day when I watch it, I’m like, “Oh my god, save me!” It’s like I’ve never acted in it before. My team knows because I watch it in the car, I watch it while I’m getting my makeup done, and I just scream along with the plot. I’m like, “Ahhh, save me!” It’s really... JBR: But from my perspective, I feel like every time the two of them argue and then explain themselves and make up, and also every time the music comes on, I feel like... falling in love is such a beautiful thing. SQ: Especially beautiful. Really. Like in our very first scene, when he was doing something with the phone and just stared at you like that... I was like, “Ahhh!” I was thinking, “Oh my god, why is he like this?” And then there was also... JBR: And yesterday’s episode, the part where he kissed your forehead... SQ: That one! JBR: When he was comforting you. SQ: His eyes! Oh my god, I couldn’t handle it! SQ: And then today's fight scene, and then the two of us lying on the bed playing with each other's hands and stuff—it's just too much. I completely lost my composure, lost all of it. Oh my god, can they even air this? I'm getting all hot. JBR: Little bubbles of love. 👤 Besides your scenes together, I think there are also moments when Luke stands up for you at work. From the audience’s perspective, those moments are really heart-fluttering too. SQ: I think everything Luke does is pretty compelling. Except when he says harsh things—he can be quite extreme. When it comes to doing good things, he really goes all out, but the things he says can be pretty harsh too. JBR: Basically, he’d be fine if he just didn’t talk and only took action. Don’t talk. SQ: Sometimes he’s really cute too.

#zhanglinghe for pei wenxuan and how they treat him. • he filmed the 🌧 confession scene during winter. he need to endure the cold & his rhinitis. moreover he catch a cold back then and still remember to remind walnutz to pay attention to their health. he was also seen to pat his chest during break (bcs of his rhinitis). • he insist to drown himself to the dirty lake to make the scene more realistic. many people on set advice him to not get into the water as it's really dirty. but he doesn't mind and even okay to take it over and over again to present the best. • filming the ☔️ scene during the day and went to another event at night, resulting his waist pain relapse. when the bts being released, the drama didn't even credit him for being under the rain too. • producer compliments others on her wrap up post. others had few good words while she only refer zlh as "warm hehe". • he made time to join the promotional event despite his thight schedule. he cooperates really well in both activities. being cheerful all day when he must've been tired of catching planes and have to work right away after landed. yet, following these events, he got attacked by his colleague's previous cp fans when all he did was promoting his work which is part of his job. • filming drama during the day, while at night he would visit the supertopic to interact with fans and talk about the drama. • no bgm? no problem. his team made it as an activities for content creators to edit pwx scene with bgm. • during filming, zhang linghe often treats The Princess Royal team with foods, drinks, even vitamins. • drama crew shared hot topics but it's not a good one as its joking on zlh and pwx. they also spread fake screentime. they give all the highlights to sml when it should be pwx's. a weibo account (suspected as the producer's 2nd account) criticize pwx & walnutz while on the other hand complimented & liked many posts about the producer & sml. • zlh and walnutz contribute a lot for the drama's popularity. the brand endorsed by zlh put an ads on it. walnutz book more than 300K rmb of cloud reservation (membership card that can be shared to others to watch the drama). it's a big amount but some people only see us being noisy about how they treat pwx. "feelings shouldn't be trampled on like this" - pwx they tried to bring zhang linghe and pei wenxuan down. but his hardwork and sincerity for pei wenxuan beat them all. even if they tired to ruin it for him, pei wenxuan has become one of his most well received character. it's all because of his talent, also his well understanding & great portrayal of pei wenxuan😉

This 88 second video fires me up. It's a call to all dreamers who want to quit their GARBAGE jobs, retire their MOTHER, eat STEAK instead of ramen and go to sleep PROUD of who they are. I want every single person on the internet to watch and read this. The video starts with comedian Andrew Schulz in all his glory sitting on the NYC subway. He’s watching a video in some crappy comedy club on his way to Madison Square Garden. Camera zooms in on him: Jewish comic, porn star mustache, german 1920 hair cut, Frank Sinatra blaring, wearing a Puerto Rican jacket. It’s weird but it’s perfect and that’s the point. When they zoom in on his eyes, you can see he’s been through hell and back. The harsh truth is if you want to win in life, you’re eating more dirt sandwiches than His dream is the same as every comic’s dream. Play Madison Square Garden one day. And it’s happening for Andrew. Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” starts getting louder and louder. Andrew bangs on a beam on his way up. Almost breaks his hand. But it doesn’t matter. Hell yeah. No one can touch me. Life’s for the taking. He runs up the stairs. Just too excited to walk. Walking is for losers. When he touches the steps of MSG, it feels like redemption. This is heaven on earth and you can’t argue otherwise. It oozes “I did it”. It oozes “I was nothing and now I’m something” It oozes “look at me now” to an ex-gf that broke up with him because he was a “loser and never would get a real job”. Andrew Shultz is living his American dream, loud and clear. To me, I never had dreams of playing Madison Square Garden. You’re probably the same. But here's the raw truth: the internet is where everyone's wildest dreams come to life But I replace MSG with the internet and some weird niche of it that fascinates you. I want to watch this every AM. So, if you make it to the deep end of this post… 1) Define your Madison Square Garden of the internet 2) Own 2024 and beyond This fires me up. I'm sharing it because maybe it fires you up too.. Reply/like/RT/Bookmark this post so this message gets spread to throughout world. -- I don't use ChatGPT to write my posts. ‼️Wade Pritchard SEEN Handing A Black Square Object To Charlie’s Security — Then WALKS Off Toward A Maintenance Shed 🤔 Watch the clip. Police are walking George Zinn to a patrol car. Wade Pritchard is behind them, backing up. It looks like he slides something into his left pocket, turns, walks forward, pulls it back out, hangs back with Blake Gibson — one of Charlie Kirk’s security men that day — and hands Gibson a small black square object. That handoff is the story. What is it, and why are these two moving like they already know each other? This does not read like two strangers bumping into each other in a chaotic scene. They look familiar. Friendly. Like they have worked together or had a relationship before September 10th. So why is Wade even on that sidewalk with Zinn, police and Charlie's security? His wife, Lauren Pritchard, was in the crowd that day too. Wade is National Guard. He has military training. He also has the same build and face that line up with the wider figure in the raw, unstretched parking-garage tape Candace released — the version the court file squeezed until it looked more like Tyler Robinson. That is not a throwaway detail. That is a comparison the public is allowed to make with their own eyes. Then there is the other still. Right after Wade can be seen walking away from the scene toward what looks like a UVU maintenance shed. Not toward safety. Not back towards the crowd to check on his wife. Toward a shed. Where is he going, and what did he just put in Blake Gibson’s hand? Charlie’s own security taking a handoff from a National Guard member who should not have been in that stack is not “vibes.” It is a sequence. Name the object. Name the relationship. Name the shed. Until they do, this stays in the file. FOLLOW my awesome reseacher KK who helped me with this stor ⚠️As you guys know this is now day 13 of no monetization. 40 Years Ago Today 26th of March 1958 - 15th of May 1986 🇮🇹 Elio de Angelis - 28 years of age ⚠️ Information about the fatal accident Elio de Angelis was a prominent Italian Formula One driver known for his elegance, musical talent, and technical skill. Often called the "last gentleman player" of F1, he was highly respected by his peers for his polite demeanor and fair racing style. Racing Career (1979–1986) De Angelis competed in 108 Grands Prix, primarily for Lotus, where he achieved his greatest successes. Death and Circumstances De Angelis died following a testing accident on May 14, 1986, at the Paul Ricard Circuit in France. The Accident During a test session, the rear wing of his Brabham BT55 detached at approximately 270 km/h. The loss of downforce caused the car to cartwheel over a barrier and land upside down, where it caught fire. This being a test day, nobody witnessed the whole incident, although two Benetton mechanics manning a speed trap caught the final stages. The car became airborne and then flipped into a series of rolls that pitched it over the guardrail, before it eventually came to rest inverted. The survival cell was intact, but the rollhoop and the fuel tank had been damaged as the car bounced over the barrier, and fuel was leaking out. De Angelis himself had suffered only a broken collarbone. Initially there was only some smoke. With little official help – Alan Jones who was the first driver on the scene said later that he was joined by two marshals wearing shorts "who just didn't have a clue" – attempts to turn the car over proved fruitless. Gradually a fire took hold. Meanwhile drivers, crew members from Brabham and other teams began to arrive from the pits. It was all too apparent that, this being a test day, there was insufficient safety cover – there was no Prof Sid Watkins, no fire vehicle and, it soon emerged, no helicopter. The main problem was not being able to turn it over. Because he was not badly injured he could have been pulled out pretty quickly, had the fire been kept down a bit. Eventually de Angelis was removed from the car. He'd been starved of oxygen by the flames, and it was discovered that he had no heartbeat. "We took his helmet off, and we really weren't sure of his condition," said Alexander. "Here was this guy with absolutely nothing wrong with him as far as we could see – there was no blood, nothing. "There was a young medical guy there with us, who didn't speak English, and in the end he got out a big syringe and stuck it in his chest. "Eventually a helicopter came, with some paramedics. They checked his pulse and stuff, and the line was moving. We carried the stretcher over to the helicopter." Having been resuscitated, de Angelis was transferred to the same hospital and seen by the same doctors who had treated Frank Williams after his road accident just a few months earlier. The rescue had come too late for de Angelis, and he died the following day in hospital, a victim of asphyxiation. Horrendous and so preventable 🥹💔 A clip of Elio de Angelis and his first win 🏆 R.I.P 💔💔 🎥 Formula 1 #italy #cars #france #accident

Hal Needham on how 'Smokey and the Bandit' (1977) massively boosted the sales of Trans Am cars & his surprise on the popularity of the movie among youngsters even today: Interviewer: How did the Trans Am become a character in the movie? Needham: That was my idea. I saw a picture of it in a magazine in black with gold stripes and T-tops and I said, "That's the car I want to put the Bandit in." I called the Pontiac people and told them my plan and, of course they'd never heard of me, so they said, "Well, what do you need?" I said "Well, I'd like to have some Trans Ams for Burt and I need three LeManses for the sheriff." After some negotiating, they gave me three Trans Ams and two LeManses. After that movie came out, you couldn't buy a black Trans Am. You had to wait six months. Their sales chart rose like the Empire State Building. When I got ready to do the 'Smokey and the Bandit II' (1980), I had some pretty good friends at Pontiac. I was on a first name basis with them, in fact. They even invited me to speak at one of their affairs. So, when I got ready to doII (the guy's name at Pontiac was Graham), I called and said, "Graham, I'm ready to do another Smokey and the Bandit." "How many cars do you need?" he asked. I said, "Well, I'm gonna need at least five Trans Ams." He said no problem. Then I said, "And I'll need 50 four-door sedans," and he said, "What?!" "I need 50 four-door sedans." In the second movie, Gleason calls his two cousins with the red and white cars. Well, I had 25 of each. They built them and shipped them on a train to me in Las Vegas. Pontiac said, "Do anything you want with them, but when you're done we gotta have them back so we can crush them to avoid any liability problems." So they gave me $750,000 worth of cars, but I sold more Trans Ams than all their dealers put together, for Christ's sake. Interviewer: Many readers have said, "I first got into Trans Ams when I saw 'Smokey and the Bandit'." Needham: You know what's really weird? I travel around a lot, and I do some speaking engagements. Kids will come up and they'll be 22 or 23 and they say, "Smokey and the Bandit'smy favorite movie," and I say, "Wait a minute, you're 22 or 23. You weren't even born when I made that movie." They'll say, "Oh yeah, but my daddy's got a DVD of it and we watch it all the time." I'll tell you something else. It's hard to turn the TV on for a week without seeing 'Smokey and the Bandit'. I was speaking up in Crested Butte at a film festival and they wanted a copy of Smokey, so my wife went to Universal to pick it up for me and they got to talking to her and they told her it was the most requested feature they ever had. That movie holds up even today." (Hal Needham's interview with Tom DeMauro, Hot Rod, 2021)

#KimJaeYoung #김재영 #HappyJaeyoungDay #TheJudgeFromHell Since it's his big day, thought I show you a short edit of his beauty & emotions in his most controversial role . 🙃 Below is a somewhat long 🤭 post about him & drama recommendations. My sweetie here is a late bloomer but I have always kept faith that people will see his potential. I liked what this kblogger said that when you see him in TJFH , he feels familiar but yet you might think he's a newcomer. Seems like a rookie but surprised that he's good in acting. If you check his filmography you'd realise he's been acting for more than a decade. JY mentioned that he wasn't sure what to do while in school but he did have a dream of being a chef especially because he helped mum out at home. His father suggested modeling after he was done with military service . He mentioned in an interview he had to shed off 30kg through diet & exercise as he weighed over 100kg .Esteem Academy signed him & he debut as a model in 2010. He got casted in a TVN survival program "Flower Boy Casting". From there, he was inspired to act and landed his 1st supporting role in the movie "No Breathing". (starring SeoInGuk & LeeJongSuk.) If you want to see a young JY in swimwear 😁, you can check him out there. The movie didn't quite make a splash (pun unintended 😁) , and JY who had actually left Esteem to pursue acting, found himself jobless for at least over a year. He auditioned for BladeMan (LeeDongWook & Shin SeKyung's drama) and got casted for a small role. Esteem reached out to him again & he signed with them again to model. He later also joined HB Entertainment for acting jobs, and was with them for a long time. Last year (2023) he left HB and joined his long time manager who had established a new agency, Management S. After Blademan , JY had several supporting roles but his 1st main cast role was in OCN's My Secret Romance. He was the 2nd lead & that was also my first JY drama. While I didn't have SLS, he was such a sweetheart there and caught my attention. My massive crush began when he acted as MooYeon in #100DaysMyPrince as an assassin and the FL's brother. He also had a forbidden love line with the 2ndFL's char played by HanSoHee , and they had great chemie despite limited scenes. I cried my eyes out watching their tragic love story. This is the year (2018) I decided I'll stan this man ☺️😂 His role there opened many doors. He had a short TV series called Dear My Room ( was on the now defunct Olive TV) where he played the romantic ML against Ryoo Hye Young's character. It was one of those friends to lovers trope and I recommend this for a sweet fluffy watch. He also sang the OST with RHY. The big year came in 2019 when he was casted as the ML , Sun Woo in #SecretBoutique, a female centric drama starring KimSunA and GoMinSi . He had a meaty role here as a prosecutor - a bit of a grey character and was somewhat like a brother to the FL (KimSunA) and he had some nice fight scenes. His body was the best here 🔥😋😁. If you don't mind a heavy melodrama, this wasn't bad. And oh boy, was I shipping him hard with GoMinSi's character. I still hope they can reunite for another show & give me closure. 2019-2020 was when I watched a KBS weekender #BeautifulLoveWonderfulLife from start to finish ( raw and with subs - yes my level of dedication surprised me) because JY got casted as Jun Hwi, the ML against another actress I love , Seol In Ah. Gosh, this drama was an emotional roller coaster and was another heavy character. The premise of the story was so sad and the leads went through so much together but I love this show though. He had good chemie with SIA. He also won a KBS acting award here. I recommend this if you can do 50eps and love angst like I do 😂 The role took its toll on JY. He mentioned he needed to take a break but then found himself without work for at least 6-7 months ( if I remember correctly) . Boy, did I miss him. It was really only in an Elle pictorial with his good friend -actor, model and famous youtuber Joo WooJae that I found out he had been having a hard time. He has appeared on WooJae's YT channel several times - they even travel together. JY's come back drama was in #ReflectionOfYou (2021), another heavy melo as the ML who was caught in an emotional tug of war between 2 women played by GoHyunJung and ShinHyunBeen. As WooJae, KJY gave some of his best acting. I know he got a lot of hate 😵‍💫🤣because WooJae was just so obssessed / in love with GHJ's character that he was willing to throw it all for her. This drama is not for the faint hearted but the acting was superb all round - even if the plot would make you uncomfortable. He was so hot here too. JY with longish hair was a dream. In 2022, he was the 2ndML , as KangHaeJin in #LoveInContract. It was so nice to see him play a diva actor and do rom-com for the 1st time. This is a fun watch. While I don't think viewers would have SLS, JY's character wasn't one dimensional either and he had his own storyline despite not being the ML. In 2022 - 2023 he voiced an audio drama , "For Sale - I Broke Up" with Yoon So Hee - but I don't know how we can listen to it internationally (though I do have some vids I would post one day). He also filmed a drama called "We Will Replace The Trip" with Gong SeungYeon, but so far no news of it airing yet. JaeYoung here is shy and unassuming. He's MBTI is INFP. You can see from his interviews he's quite easygoing and humorous. On my highlights- I have subbed some of his videos for TJFH. JY says he still dreams of being a chef and has gone to a 6-month cooking course last year. He also hopes to be able to take on warmer roles going forward.

One common reason why traders blow up is because of poor position sizing. In other words, how much do you bet on a trade. You can be right on direction 60% of the time and still lose everything if you size your positions poorly. One oversized trade can wipe out months of gains. This is why position sizing is a big part of risk management. Sandeep Rao - SEBI Reg. RA🖖 recently spoke to Tom Basso, one of the original Market Wizards, to discuss his approach to trading. I was listening to the interview and the one thing that stood out to me was how Tom's thinking on position sizing evolved over decades. He started simple: risk the same percentage of equity on every trade, inspired by Larry Hite's philosophy that every bet should be equal in terms of potential loss. But then came a silver trade with explosive volatility. Clients were calling, nervous about the wild swings. So he realized it wasn't just about the amount you could lose—it was also about the speed of movement. High volatility creates psychological stress that leads to poor decisions. So he added a second layer: volatility as a percentage of equity. Now he'd calculate both risk % and volatility %, then take the smaller of the two. Then came the third refinement: margin-to-equity ratios. Some markets have deceptively low risk and volatility but require high margin because of sudden jump risk. By incorporating all three factors, he never got caught overexposed. The result was a position sizing system that automatically scales down when markets get too volatile, protects against margin squeezes, and keeps portfolio risk in check. It's really interesting conversation. Link to the full interview is in the comments.

Takeshi Kitano explains how The Yakuza were influential & an important part of his childhood: "Interviewer: Let's talk about your background. Kitano: I was born and raised in Tokyo. My father was a house painter, and allegedly used to be a Yakuza, and if not, was generally just an outrageous kind of character. My mother was a very hard-working woman who would work in the bean cake factory during the day, and at night would work manufacturing children's toys, part-time. She was very education-minded, and was very keen on having her son get a better education so we could get out of these poor conditions in 50's and 60's Japan. My neighborhood was a typical working class area. Most of my neighbors were either Yakuza, or craftsmen. Japan was going through rapid growth economically at the time, so my mother told us kids to concentrate on scientific studies like engineering, subjects that were practically advantageous in terms of getting a good job. So as a kid, I was never allowed to read comics, read novels, watch films. I had to concentrate on my studies, which led me to the engineering department at the university. Interviewer: So that's where your fascination with the Yakuza comes from. You grew up around them. Kitano: That's true. Actually, in my neighborhood amongst us kids, there were two types of people that were considered cool: professional baseball players and Yakuza, who usually dressed and looked really cool. The Yakuza were always very good to us kids. They would give us allowance money, buy us candy, and things like that. At the same time, they played an education role. If they found us having a smoke, or drinking, they would scold us. They would say things like "Always be very kind to your parents and stay in school, otherwise you'll end up like me," which was very weird, right? But it also got through to me." (Takeshi Kitano's interview with Alex Simon, The Hollywood Interview, 2001) Clip from: Kids Return (1996) Director: Takeshi Kitano

BREAKING: Claude Opus 5 is OUT NOW! And…it’s a hard model to love. We’ve spent the last week Every 📧 testing it across coding, writing, knowledge work, and our internal agent. It argued with instructions, stopped before the work was finished, and generally didn’t play well with our existing skills and plugins like Compound Engineering. Our first reaction was: What have they done to my boy? Then we deleted our existing skills and started from scratch. Without the elaborate workflows we had built for earlier models, Opus 5 got dramatically better, and even showed flashes of brilliance. Here’s our Day 0 vibe check: - It’s a poor man’s Fable. It has many of Fable’s personality quirks without Fable’s genius. - It breaks backward compatibility. If you’re using it with existing skills and workflows, watch out. It will often stop early or otherwise miss your instructions. - If you start from scratch, you’ll have better results. Kieran Klaassen figured out that if he just started from scratch without his existing skills, he could get dramatically better results. This is a model that takes some time to rebuild your workflows around—but if you do, there’s a payoff waiting. - Medium or low effort works better. @KieranKlassenn also found better results using Opus 5 on lower thinking levels. It seems that the more time you give it to think, the more likely it is to do the more annoying behaviors. Don’t just switch to Sonnet for a faster response! Try low thinking. I have two slots in my workflow: 1. The genius model I use for my biggest hardest tasks, currently Fable. 2. The smart, fast generalist I use for everything else, currently GPT-5.6. Opus 5 has the personality of the genius, but doesn’t have its top end. So that puts it in a strange middle ground that doesn’t really have a home in my day to day. I think I’ll use it mostly when I run out of Fable tokens. full vibe check on Every 📧 in the next tweet 👇

Analyzing Episode 40. Season 2 aka Of Uzak Şehir, The Alboras, and The Great Retcon Twist Okay dokie. Let's get to analyzing episode 40, but I'm gonna take a different approach for this one. Why? Because throughout the episode, it seemed like the writer was trying to drive home one point - Who really is Boran Albora? From the moment this episode kicked off, the showdown in the salon shows the viewers Boran refusing to let Alya go. He keeps repeating one thing - you're MY wife, Deniz is MY son. It has nothing to do with feelings and emotions; this man is clearly functioning based on possessiveness and control. Alya, bless her heart, tries to appeal to his emotions and begs him to let her go while preserving some semblance of normalcy for Deniz. But what does the zombie come back with - he says I'll never let you leave me and marry Cihan. Alya keeps repeating she doesn't want him, but it's like her wants and wishes don't even register with Boran. Then, she says something magical. She says she doesn't 'know' him. And, it's true. She lived with the man for seven years, had a child with him, but in the end, his betrayal cuts her so deep, she scraps all the knowledge she thinks she knows about him. Now, I've seen many people saying that's the idea of living with a man and having his kid, while not truly knowing him, is ridiculous. Not true. In fact, in psychologically abusive relationships, it generally takes a very long time for one partner to discover the other's true colors. And note, thus far, the writer seems to be hinting at the fact that Boran's mask tends to slip when he's under pressure. Anyway, when the zombie once again turns to Cihan and all but orders him to get divorced, we see a teeny-tiny glimpse of ruthless Cihan from s1 make a comeback. Being the smarty-pants he is, Cihan says if the zombie wants them to get divorced, he'd better get his old identity back first. Why? Does Cihan want to buy time? Does he want the zombie to reveal himself to figure out what he's hiding? Does he try to trap him into coming out so Alya can divorce his ass once and for all? I suspect it's all three. Now, let's jump to scene two, which seemed to scream the writer wants the audience to go back and ask themselves, was Boran really the benevolent older brother, or was he always the clever manipulator? When Cihan, Nare, and Kaya are all having a heart-to-heart in Cihan's cave room, Kaya starts the conversation by saying 'Boran is still in trauma, because he clearly can't decide what he wants or what he's doing. He's not the same Boran.' Is that right, though? Because from what we know of Boran, the man seems to do stupid shit and leaves everyone else to deal with the mess he leaves behind. He's the walking, talking textbook definition of 'selfish.' Thankfully, it seems like Cihan isn't thinking along the same lines. Because to him, Boran saving his own skin while leaving Alya and Deniz behind doesn't add up. And what's more, it sparks old memories because who knows better about Boran's cut-and-run act than the guy who always has to clean up after him? So, that Cihan suspects Boran's up to his no good shit again is obvious. He seems to be the only one waking up to the fact that the older brother he hero-worshipped may not be the man he thought he was. And, that makes perfect sense, because isn't Cihan the guy to tell Alya that people like the truth can be multifaceted. Which brings me to scene number 3, when Sahin and Zerrin come over to visit 'abi.' To say their meeting doesn't go down well is an understatement. Because, here too, the only one Boran seems to really care about is himself. Nare can't go with Sahin because Ecmel tried to kill him, etc, etc. But, I don't think that's his problem really, seeing as how it's obvious as day the zombie will eventually turn to Ecmel's side. I think what's really eating Boran up is that life has moved on, and he's no longer playing the starring role in any of their lives. Cihan is Aga now. Kaya is no longer a teenager. Nare is a married woman. Alya is in love with Cihan. And Deniz has picked out another father for himself. See? All these people in his orbit, whom he's constantly blaming and picking fights with, have all grown, changed, and matured. All except one. Sadakat. The zombie seems to get along great with her because she's constantly pandering to his massive ego and control issues. She keeps filling his ears with how he can 'take back' Alya and Deniz. She keeps saying no believed her when she said Ecmel was out to kill him. It's almost like the man gravitates towards special treatment and entitlement. Because that's likely how he was raised. Oh, he's the eldest brother; you should respect him. Oh, he's the firstborn who deserves first pickings. And, Boran likely thrives in such an environment. But the story keeps reminding us that when the going gets tough, Boran prefers to run, or if he can't, he gets nasty. And that leads me to the message I get from ep 40. The great Retcon Twist. Was Boran the good guy who turned bad, or was he always this selfish, entitled prick who got special treatment due to his birth and then eventual 'fake' death? Guess which way I'm leaning? Anyway, enough about the zombie. The other bit that stood out to me in this episode, apart from all the zombie's shenanigans, was how the writer seems to be going out of their way to protect CihAl. I mean, sure, Gulizar has issues with her writing, no doubt, but in this episode, if you pay attention to Cihan and Alya's dialogues (when they're together), you'll pick up little clues to let you know that she's saying, ' I got this.' For example, you know how recently everyone has jumped on the blame Cihan and Alya bandwagon with the shameless tirade? What does Cihan say when they're at dinner, 'Their road is pure despite people calling it wrong.' When Alya confesses how she wanted to hug and sleep in Cihan's arms, but couldn't because they're aware of their circumstances, it was exceedingly heartbreaking and a slap to the moral brigade at the same time. And, this is also one of the reasons why I think this love story will not only succeed but will stand the test of time with a happy ending, because they never compromise on their set of principles and ideals. They don't use the cliched excuse 'oh, but we're in love' to steamroll over other people's lives and happiness. That's what makes CihAl so perfect as a couple. There's a lot more to cover from this episode, but this is all from me for now. Till later, watch with your eyes, think with your head, and feel with your heart. Happy reading, y'all. #CihAl #UzakŞehir
