Working on a fox puppet at the moment and playing around with a few techniques. TPU printed with some parts printed in PLA where it needs it. Eye is just paper and so is the tongue. A very early test to show where I’m going with this.

I made a kindred puppet years ago go and i used a DVC resin head and built on top of it in air dry clay… it was so heavy 😅 learnt a lot with that project

No, I print without walls so you can hot glue fabric to it easily.

3D printed stencils are the superior stencils, no more being beholden to big stencil. Take a look at how fast and easy it is to apply, no messing around with tape or surrounding it with other boards. It’s only going to get better from here.

This is a double unicorn. 1. It’s a successful made in the USA toy 2. It’s 3-D printed 🤯 Why is this so unusual? Despite much hype, there are few commercially successful 3-d printed products, especially ones that are not custom. What’s the reason for this? 3-D printing is expensive. It’s much cheaper to use alternative manufacturing techniques like injection molding. So why’d they do it? It says collect 160+ designs. Each would require an expensive mold. But the other reason is that the parts wiggle and have custom colors. This cannot be done without human assembly if the parts are injection molded. But if they’re printed, you can print them pre-assembled, which is important if you’re going to make the product in the USA. Very innovative product, manufacturing, and presentation!

Coming very soon to a 3D Printer near you. The sheer simplicity of the ammo and the lack of professional tools is a part of the demonstration so don't get too hurt by this. This is a project we have been working on for a while known as the Deep ammo series. It is a 3D printed ammunition system that uses a printed hull, powder, a primer (whether printed or normal), and a projectile. As of now we have these cycling in revolvers, and both actions but getting something like this firing semi-automatic is difficult. Not impossible though, we are hard at work and I just know you'll be seeing more of these soon.
