Working on an accessibility tool for Deaf/HoH VR users named VR-CC to transcribe their audio in a VR overlay! Words are made more transparent when confidence in the transcription is low. Runs locally, no analytics, no subscription service! Even seems to recognize common sounds!

Would it be possible to add an option to translate the text into other languages? So it could break many language barriers

It supports a TON of languages, though only supports translating back to English or the same language. Definitely a feature I want to include regardless 😄

This is perfect even with me having ADHD having a hard time paying attention to what people are saying to me and comprehending to what I missed about what they are saying.

It may recognize common sounds, but fox mumbling is apparently uncommon

brilliant <3

Where you get that VR-CC?

Are you using vosk for the voice recognition?

Nop, this is using OpenAI's Whisper
