you could try giving it a reference of some existing public design system, though mine is very disorganised, i started with few things and kept adding more and more. it always nice to ask the agent to establish good - spacing tokens - radius system - layout hierarchy (ask it to prefer sub-grids inside cards) - colors - motion design even better if tokens are not constraint , ask it to demo the choices to you , it will generate a nice html thing where it will layout option and you kinda eye ball what looks good and not and eventually by going through a questionnaire you will endup building your own design system.

sorry but the frontend capabilities of chinese models is really bad imo. okay for copying a given reference work but really hard to do anything creative and ideation. right now i feel opus 5.5 is like easy 10 times better than any other model.

Every day i'm blown away at what i can do in an hour with frontier models like Opus 5.5. I didn't know what to do with an old iPhone, so I built Bluey, w/ Opus 5.5. It's powered by GPT Realtime 2 (i think... whatever Opus decided to use). Bluey is an iOS app + mac app that is made to be a computer companion. It can point, comment, and even control my entire computer. github repo below

Day 3 of getting back to building my gamified workout tracker. (have some AI features) I just tested both Opus 4.8 and GPT-5.5 for the multilingual feature, and Opus 4.8 is still slightly better. It only needed one prompt to solve it. My apps always supports multiple languages because I target multiple markets and don’t want to depend on just one market. Powered by Opus 4.8, Rork, Cursor
