build something similar with gnodes. But obviously I can only choose the edges from the original mesh. Yet still nice to have control.

These are chamfers, not bevels

This brings my mind to someone developing a revolutionary “CAD > DCC mesh converter” as I struggled with that mess pretty bad in my current job. Ended up dropping almost $200 on Plasticity because its CAD > OBJ export features were the closest & best thing I could track down.

I've been getting great results in Blender; I think my biggest challenge has been the technical views.

Amazing

I wonder if you’ll be able to create bevels similar to those in C4D. Imagine you need to bevel the letter “T,” where the bottom part is wider than the top - that is, the bases have different thicknesses. it’s like a bevel with varying angles of inclination and convergence...

I used to write stuff that did this in mail script in Maya back in 2006 worked good. Sadly I lost all my tools when I quit modeling

Awesome! I wish beveling had more freedom in native blender

Qual é a ideia disso? Conseguiria fazer bevels em high poly cheio de booleans parecido com CAD

Beautiful!

Non-destructive CAD-like bevels would save a lot of motion-cleanup. How does it behave on dense Boolean mess?

Looks amazing. Please keep us posted. If the bevels are live and adjustable after the fact, this would be huge for hard surface modeling.

Interesting 🙂when will be available?

1-2 weeks, need to test it more.

That's a thing that really should be a native modifier or something in Blender, and it's kind of annoying that it isn't.

Looks very interesting!
