Today is my first day at OpenAI! I'm joining the Codex team. I'll be splitting my time between building the Codex app and working with developers/entrepreneurs to help them make the most of Codex. As a Y Combinator alum, I'm really looking forward to working with early-stage startups and couldn't be more energized about OpenAI's $2M investment in new YC startups. Despite OpenAI being the largest company I've been part of, it certainly feels like Sam Altman, Greg Brockman and the whole Codex team are in founder mode. I've never seen another startup move as fast as this team does. I'm truly honored to be joining such a brilliant team. As always, it's all about the people... so I'd like to thank Romain Huet, dominik kundel, corey.ching, Andrew Ambrosino, Alexander Embiricos, Tibo, and the rest of the Codex team for their trust. And thanks to Pankaj Gupta, Gilad Mishne, and Will Horn for believing in me, bringing me back to Silicon Valley after almost ten years, and giving me the opportunity to learn about AI.

Updated the subagents system in my custom Pi extension to include: - Pi subagents - Codex subagents - Claude Code subagents The Pi thread can call and spin up any of them, and instead of just using the "codex exec" or whatever, it'll do a tool call that wraps it up in a first class way. Have a decent UI for them already added in as well. Pi being the main thread then having Codex/Claude Code as tools when needed feels so good. A flow I'm already using a ton is: "Implement feature ___, have a cc fable subagent research and plan out the api design + feature, then have a codex subagent implement it, then have a cc fable subagent do a review/fixes focused on simplicity and correctness" I also have a dynamic workflows extension setup and working, but it's not nearly as polished yet. Probably gonna make the subagent system more robust, then built it around that so u could have a workflow that flows between codex/cc/pi...

World Models are the path for some AI Models in the future. But how can we efficiently train these models to not only see the world the way humans do but to see the world in a new and unique way. By visualizing, what is normally sequenced audio patterns, we can derive much more insights. Here we see Paganini in a visual form that can than be described and transcribed into a World Model. We can observe connections in a manner that may not have been clear prior to the digitalization of music and sound in this way. The company with the most valuable potential in building a World Model is Tesla. Not that this type of visualization is being used, but that the mechanisms are in place, and the technology is in place for the company to thrive in this new form of AI.

You can now orchestrate Fable 5, Sol, and any model inside Codex with one plugin. It's called Codex-Orchestration. Assign Fable 5 as the advisor, Sol as the executor, or any model to any role. After 5 months of planning, our first Live2D Jakarta Chapter event was a huge success! We brought an interactive Live2D showcase to the biggest anime con in Indonesia, featuring over 20 finest models created by our local artists and riggers. This showcase also included a custom-made plugin for VTube Studio that adds touch interactivity to Live2D models, allowing visitors to interact with VTuber models in a more engaging way! We hope this demo could open up new potential for Vtubers in IRL events. Special thanks to Live2D Inc. for trusting me to host this event! The showcase attracted many curious visitors and gave us the opportunity to introduce this tech to a wider audience, and we hope we are opening up new opportunities for everyone. I say this, and in no means throwing shade at Cursor, but using the new design mode really makes me appreciate the speed of interactions in Figma and Framer. I will absolutely be testing it out in my own workflow, and love that an IDE finally is adding a browser view and selection UX for local dev support, especially one as powerful as cursor... But i'll wait until undo works. I mean... how am I supposed to design without cmd+z?
