@WCKitchen They should send in international rescue teams along with NATO for protection and tell the Russians if there are any attacks on them then NATO will retaliate. That would be a way to get additional forces and air support in to help Ukraine.

Reporting in from our DB Kitchen in Gaza where World Central Kitchen is preparing 100,000 meals today…but we must do more! With five main kitchens, a hundred community kitchens, and more pita bakeries…more stable supplies of food and fuel, and safe delivery routes…I know we can reach one MILLION meals each day. Palestinians feeding Palestinians. In the most difficult circumstances, they are showing us they can do it.

The team at WCK’s Field Kitchen in Mayotte wrapped up production last week after preparing more than 580,000 hot meals for communities impacted by Cyclone Chido. With the support of these local chefs and community leaders, we were able to focus our efforts on providing traditional dishes that brought comfort to families in need. Beyond the food cooked at our kitchen, we also worked with restaurant partners to serve a total of 4 million meals. We are so proud of this staff, many of whom were directly affected by the storm, and their dedication to showing up every day to support their neighbors. #ChefsForMayotte

Yesterday, tragically, seven aid workers from World Central Kitchen were accidentally killed in an airstrike. After October 7th, World Central Kitchen was among the first responders, providing aid to Israelis affected by Hamas's attacks. Since then, they've extended their support to the people in Gaza as well. Israel immediately took responsibility and initiated an investigation into the circumstances of the accident. Additionally, they are collaborating with representatives from World Central Kitchen and the governments of the foreign nationals involved. It was a devastating accident, and Israel, like the rest of the world, mourns this loss of life.
