I was the seasoned guy once. Turned out the noise was coming from timing belt tensioners bearing that soon failed and belt jumped.

I drive a HJ60 series and it makes a LOT of funny noise when I’m going at “high” speeds

F it, she'll ride. [Turns up radio] Have done that before. Also: Drove a car home making expensive noises, as soon as I shut it off I disconnected the battery and started taking the hood off. Knew that engine was coming out (dropped a valve). Even wounded, she got me home.

You missed the junker daily where you tell it to shut up and poor 15-40 in there.
