Absolutely agree that unstructured time and removal of hierarchy helps people come up with truly brilliant and out of the box ideas. There's a beautiful balance between the pressure to execute properly and the freedom to err that results in amazing outcomes

Your book on the subject was really good. I gave that to all my nephews and nieces to read. What is quite striking is that you grew up in an environment where none of this was a given and frowned upon yet it still came out that strong. Very hopeful that.

I think there's something beautiful that happens in a collaborative spirit, when people have a kind of friendly and competitive talk about "what if we made things better?" and see where it goes to just keep building on an idea. Not everything works--but together you reach higher.
