Given that this whole sequence is gen-ai made? No I wouldnt play a remaster/remake like this since it looks horrible and has so many lore issues and inconsistencies. Would I play a buffed up CT remake where they kept everything that made the original such a great game? yes.

Yea, the flying backwards on the Epoch was funny. As a concept I do like it though. I wouldn't mind CT in the Square Enix HD2D engine if it stayed true to the original. Idk if you played LIVE A LIVE remake, but that was very true to the original.

I have not played Live A Live. Because I have not been having enough funds and time. But sometime I will. HD2D if handled the right way like Star Ocean 2? Would be interesting to see. Like 7R or DQ7 Reimagined? No.

You need to play it, I would even help funding you getting a copy. And no, definitely not like DQ7 reimagined. It would have to be like Star Ocean or Octopath.

Yeah, it's a bummer. I had hoped the NSO service would let me finally play tons of jrpg's for NES and SNES that for one reason or another never made it to PAL territories. Sadly it's mostly arcade, action and platformers. I'm glad for what we've got but still.

The purists are starting to come out against 2.5D remakes but I'm 100% for it. I've beaten that game so many times and I'd love to see it updated like this with maybe some new content. Maybe some ties to Chrono cross. People need to understand this isn't an official video lol...

I'm seeing a lot of pushback on the 2.5D stuff and it's interesting to say the least. I feel li e SE has such a proven track record with their HD2D games.

Everything I've seen 2.5D has looked amazing to me. I know SE would make it beautiful. I personally don't understand the pushback. I think the 2.5D DQ games have helped introduce the games to a new generation. A full remake isn't appropriate for CT but I support this all the way!

No, HD-2D is an absoult down grade from the original and should never be used on such a classic. Its bad enough they did it to dragon quest insuring i will never play the remake.

Nope, never had access to the original so I don't even know what a Live A Live is until I just looked it up. But if they did it like this I would have skipped it. I'd rather them handle it like FFT remake and enhance it.
