My son’s one good kidney is failing. Please pray for Caleb’s transplant surgery. As of this last appointment we are officially in the process of scheduling Caleb’s kidney transplant. This will be Caleb’s 6th surgery in his 3 years on this earth, and by far the most serious. He has some rather complicated complications that heighten the possibility of rejection among other issues. Horrible news for Nat Butcher who re-injured his MCL in his return game this past weekend - that made it 3 significant MCL injuries back-to-back for him since Round 7, all to the same knee. MCL tears rarely require surgery, but with such significant & repetitive trauma Butcher will now undergo an MCL reconstruction & his 2025 season is over. I didn’t have high expectations for this season, but I NEVER thought it would be this bad. Memphis just lost to Tulane (previously on a 5-game losing streak) at home. They are now 10-11. 5-4 in AAC play. Not to mention, the attendance is so bad that they’re moving everybody down to the lower bowl + giving out free tickets in the lower bowl to season ticket holders. There needs to be change this offseason.
