The ongoing construction of the 100.5km Obelle–Ilaro–Papalanto–Sagamu Road in Ogun State is progressing steadily. This vital infrastructure project is being executed by the Dangote Group under the Federal Government’s Tax Credit Scheme, and our administration played a significant role in ensuring that this project became a reality for the overall benefit of the good people of Ogun State and other road users. About ten months ago, Alhaji Aliko Dangote and I paid an inspection visit to this strategic corridor, which holds immense significance for Ogun State and Nigeria at large. When completed, it will provide a seamless alternative route for commuters from Sango, Iyana Ipaja, and Itori, eliminating the need to use the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway or pass through Abeokuta to access the Sagamu Interchange.

See what a Senator in Nigeria did with his constituency fund, and people ignorantly keep blaming Tinubu for economic meltdown. Check this out! Ogun West Senator Yayi's empowerment project. Unprecedented in the history of Ogun West senatorial district.. This is not just a Nigerian. He is also from Ogun State. Just a senator like other senators!7 months old

Ogun: Sen. Adeola Claimed Ekiti Indigeneship While at The Guardian — Marcus-Bello He left The Guardian and emerged in the public domain with a new name and a new face. I have no problem with that. But what does he take Ogun State for? He went to the Lagos State House of Assembly, moved from there to the Senate via Lagos, and then jumped to Ogun State. So now it's Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun. Senatorial representation is sectional. If the Awori people accepted him as their senator and saw nothing wrong with it, that was fine. But this is now an Ogun State affair, and what I stand for is justice and fair play. Amb. Folake Marcus-Bello, Former Nigerian Ambassador to Zambia and Malawi

Progress check! The Atan-Lusada-Agbara section of the Sokoto-Badagry Highway is looking massive. What started as an Ogun State project is now a key part of the Federal Government's mega-highway plan. This road is a game-changer for the industrial zones in Agbara and Lusada.

Beautiful ride with the team to ABK. Stopped at the Gateway Landmark for pictures, linked up with fellow bikers, ate good Ofada rice and amala, and enjoyed every moment of the journey. One thing that stood out on this trip was the ongoing improvement on the Abeokuta–Lagos road by @craneburgconstruction You can already see smoother sections and active rehabilitation work making the ride better and more comfortable. Infrastructure like this makes movement easier and road trips more enjoyable. Passed by the massive Lafarge Cement Factory on our way back and just soaked in the scenery all through the ride. Good roads, good people, good ride. 🇳🇬 Ogun State is open for investment. #ogunstate #abeokuta #lagos #infrastructure

ABEOKUTA, OGUN: For new viewers in the Naija Confra house, this was the day the eiye and buccaneer w@r in Abeokuta, Ogun State began. We discussed this back in March. Naija Confra’s investigations revealed that last year, Buccaneers were celebrating the signing out of a prominent member, as seen in this video, when Eiye members disrupted the event FOR NO REASON, despite no prior conflict. The situation would later escalate, leading to the de@ths of two Buccaneers who were caught unaware. This sparked the Buccaneers’ retaliation and the start of a full-blown w@r this year. Since then, the violence has continued back and forth.. Many Eiye members want peace, but the violent actions of a few cause harm to all. We hope both sides call for peace in Abeokuta to prevent further loss of life, as many prominent members have already d!ed in this clash on both sides.

Omo, see this Chinese furniture factory in Lagos! 😳😍 People should stop saying that Chinese people are only coming here to sell finished goods and set up retail shops. That is not true. A lot of them are running different kinds of factories and employing Nigerians. We must encourage them to do more. And for those calling and threatening them, please stop. Don’t threaten them; work with them instead. There is also enough room for retail in Nigeria. Find ways to source materials cheaply and sell at affordable prices, even amid inflation. There are still so many Nigerians selling goods at affordable rates. We need to work together to make life more comfortable and affordable for the average Nigerian. 🇳🇬🤝🏽🇨🇳 Vc: @winter9ja on TT 📍Chinese furniture factory in Lagos🇳🇬

Anthony Joshua travelled extensively across Europe and other parts of the world this past weeks without incident, yet it took one journey on Ogun State road to expose the harsh reality Nigerians face daily especially in Ogun State. This incident shows the deplorable state of our roads, the absence of functional emergency response services, and the persistent failure of states like Ogun State, where good roads and human life are NEVER prioritised. Anthony Joshua could have lost his life today in Nigeria, sadly 2 of his companions died on the spot. Look at how a whole Anthony Joshua was even transported after he survived. The World will finally see Nigeria for what it truly is, A NOW DISGRACED NATION 💔

Izzo asked if Michigan State basketball is an opportunity for fans to feel good about this place again: “It’s no secret, we’ve gone through some tough times in football for a variety of reasons. I’ve been a big supporter of them and Harlon and I will continue to do that. We’ll fly back from Arizona and go to Ford Field. My respect is for the university. I love this place and all 650,000 alums. I really hope our players look at it like we’re playing for a lot of people. When we made our run in 2009 in Detroit, it was about playing for the state. Well, I wanna play for Michigan State. I hope this team plays for the name on the front (Michigan State) and we help people get through some tough times.”
