Wow, I love this idea. ๐ฅ

This is what was done in the early 2000's

I know, but the idea of the image on discs is a nice one.

We had label printing like that in the 90โs. We also had lighscribe discs.

I am creating my own game library lately, bought some dvd cases and after making adjustments I'm printing both covers and cd tray covers but not using dvd sticker. Printing on inkjet disc. It's a good hobby โ๐ป Especially creating dvd tray cover is so funny, I'm creating the visual from scratch

Wow, that's great, you can make your own cover!

@jiletburkay Can u please teach me how u did it?

You need a good printer that have A4/A3 page support (A4 is enough for dvd covers, A3 is for making unique optional posters) and that printer must have cd/dvd printing feature. I'm using Epson Ecotank L8100. You can find case covers easily on the Internet ( Of you want create unique covers for cd/dvd you need to find good pictures and create ๐ template on Photoshop or something and need to burn it on cd/dvd that have a inkjet feature (white label for printing This video is just a sample, I did just find a simple picture on the Internet and wanted to see how the cd printing works..

These are my examples I have my own templates for both Box arts and CDs. Every detail on cd tray is the result of some research. For example, png files of the logos, text fonts, trademark texts etc. A little photoshop knowledge and chatgpt is also helpful when I want to do something. it gives me some info on how to do it via tools. Of course I need to practice a lot, I'm just a beginner. Trying to get the best result for my own library โ๐ป

Idea? Holy hell Iโm old.

I get what you mean. I was talking about the way the image was placed on the disc I really liked that idea. ๐๐

I know, but the idea of the picture on the disc is a nice one.

bro has a supra tv!

We were doing this back in the late '90s and early-mid 2000s with movie, cd and game bootlegs and a CD Stomper Pro.

Printable disc, a Canon printer with a CD tray, and the SECRET clear varnish spray to seal the surface and make it shiny... it looks like a real DVD! This one is about 13 years old...

Imagine being so young you think this is some new idea.

I remember when there was some devices that couldn't play a CD/DVD with a sticker cover on them. You had to peel them off.

I don't know how to use it now, but I liked the idea of the picture on the disc.

Those stickers are trash. I buy the blank disks that can be printed on and I have an inkjet printer that can print directly onto them. It's great!

Where can I buy these? I need to make 100 for my Xbox Homebrew game I'm printing a limited run of..

I don't know, but it's a great idea, isn't it?

This is nothing new, as disc labels have been thing since the 90's, but they aren't great as the glue can dry out over time causing the labels to peel up,it's better to get printable disc, or just use Lightscribe disc if you have a drive that can do it.

You make me feel old. We used to get our playstation 1s and 2s chipped and then download using limewire or kazzaa and using nero burner create our games, we used to buy our cd cover stickers from partners (a stationary shop on the high street) and print off the cd covers and cd box covers. Or we just used a board pen and wrote what game it was depending on our ink levels. Then grab my nokia 3210 and text my friend "cum ovr new gme" had to keep letters short was on a pay as you go and 10p texts used to burn through my ยฃ5 orange top up quickly..

If you get a Free McBoot memory card you can load games off a USB drive.

check out

Shit I would have played that bulletproof instead

It is the better game in my opinion

I'm too old for this, we were doing this 25+ years ago ๐ญ

Hand down one of my favorite games in PS2

I mostly play the PS1 to PS4 emulator on PC.

Shit put me onto game! I'm still running my old SNES

10 year old me would believe this

This brings old memories

This isnโt a new concept? People have been doing exactly this since the early 2000โs, ironically the quality of the disc prints havenโt improved at all since๐คฃ๐คฃ

people were doing this in 2003

Sony is really relying that the suckers that will be tied to their PS6 can make up for the revenue they refuse to make by listening to their customers. @Sony , you want us to go digital? There's us going digital

oh I've made tons of this. first you have to patch the iso file downloaded, then burn it into a dvd+r blank disk using dvd burner with feature called 'burn in' to get the best compatibility. I still own that pioneer dvd burner but I'm afraid it has no use anymore.

Put the stickers face-side down onto the base, and drop the disc onto it. It's easier, and you get better results.

I know I put about 2,000hrs into that game.

It's a beautiful game, the best game I've ever seen.

Printing a label and sticking it onto the disc was typical of small-run bootlegs back in the 1990s. The more expensive ones later switched to screen printing. Instantly takes me back 30 yearsโthough these days, for many games, buying a used original copy is actually cheaper than burning and printing one yourself.

I remember back in the Xbox 360 days kids around the way would purchase games from Walmart and replace the game with a blank CD and transfer the cover sticker using this stamper and return it for a refund on every new game that came out ๐คฆ๐พโโ๏ธ....ok maybe I was kids๐
